Ah, that up stroke. Nice touch. Beautifully played.
I love the sound of the mandalin. This young lady knows her way around a fretboard.
@@Dave.Mustaine.Is.Geniusit's not necessary to tell everyone on the internet how pathetic your wet dreams are. Do better.
It's not mandolin it's mandocello if i'm not mistaken
@@zm_headhunter mandocello is deeper and sounds more guitar like than the rest of the mando family. I think it’s an octave mandolin or mandola
@@connormoon8363 I thing that's because the strings are clamped with the cop that's why it sounds a bit sharper than a regular mandocello, and it's bigger and very different than a mandolin, but yeah it can be an octave mandolin
Someone that knows their way around a fretboard wouldn't put a capo on a mando
That Mandolin tone is awesome!
What can this strange device be? When she touches it, it gives forth a sound.
this is so beautiful - very pleasing to listen to
BEAUTIFUL!
I'll bet the acoustics in there are awesome.
You are simply sublime. The music and talent, magnificent.
magical
Excellent room choice for this, this is mastery.

Wow! I've only dabbled with the mandolin, but that's magic!!!
Thank you! Cheers ❤️

Gracias maravilloso desde Piura Perú
Very few musicians can captivate me alone and acoustically. This is working for me!!!✌️❤️
Absolutely delightful. I could listen to this gal all day.
Oh heavens! This is absolutely breathtaking, mesmerizing and goosebumpingly divine!♥
Strumming is what makes this, fantastic control
I love this instrument. Your video is so wonderful.
Beautiful playing. Delicate yet confident control, more felt than thought. Simply lovely.
God you shure have the beat lady. Merci
Ça me touche au coeur.
I love the sound and feel you get from whatever that is, it tells an epic story.
Blacksmith by Planxty(may be an earlier tune like much Trad)
Beautiful music! I started classical guitar in '69, do mainly cittern now. Love that almost a rasgueado with a flatpick, and the way you bring the tune out of the chords with hammer-ons and pull-offs. And that bell-like timbre you're getting. Chef's kiss!
Wow!!!!!!
Knockout. I love this song.brilliant playing
wonderful !
Nothing to say ! a wonderful interpretation. I had a great time. Thanks again

Felicitaciones.
Beautifully played with such a wonderful tone resonating in that hallway.
U can tell its in your soul. Beautiful
So vet beautiful in so many ways
This tune was composed by Irish musician Terry Woods. The lyrics of song itself were first collected in 1909 in Suffolk, England.
You have amazing talent with that. Great job and keep it up.
Great strumming technique!
Amazing.. And a beautiful instrument.
Amazing !
Awesome instrument,
Gorgeous and talented gal totally shredding on it 💪🏻♥️⚡️
This girl is like listening to yes music. But you can just close your eyes and go back 200 years. Her skill is great.

Just beautiful
That's epic❤
I heard you and your sisters play in Estes Park like a zillion years ago. Love that you're still going and sounding great!!
I feel like on a festival of love just now. Thank you 🌼🌻🍀
That's so beautiful, I was introduced to the mandolin sound through Jimmy Page and Led Zepplin, also Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, I love the mandolin minor melodies, they sound so medieval and timeless ❤️
John Paul Jones was on the Mando with Zeppelin.
@@JustinMichels Yes very true, I saw him playing mandolin in one live concert setting for the song "Going to California" Jimmy Page was playing the acoustic guitar. But the most famous Led Zepplin mandolin song is the studio recording "The Battle of Evermore" where Jimmy Page plays the mandolin. But I am aware that John Paul Jones is excellent on other string instruments apart from the bass guitar 🎸
@@JustinMichels Very Underated Musician
pretty song
Bravo
Brividi 🎉
Stumbled upon this by accident ~ wonderful. Thank you ~ you've brought new life to a lovely old tune.
😭😭so good
Very cool
Beautiful both the skills being played, the song and the artist herself.
Little known fact, that's a Mandola and she's just INCREDIBLY small.
Do you happen to know what brand she’s using?
I don't know if this is "chord melody" style of playing but it certainly is invigorating & very complete sounding
I'd assume it was, but I've never seen chord melody used for anything other than the mountain dulcimer, where it contrasts with noter drone style
Such a beautiful songbird
Thanks ..! 😊
wow that's so cool
Linda ❤ Beautiful
Beautiful melody from ancient times.
Play it on girl ! 😉
She is at another level! superb!
Coming from the various steps of the North
Marvelous. Great, right hand, bravo.
Incrível 😮
Damn well played!!
That is the biggest mandolin I've ever seen! It sounds nice and deep and very medieval. What a fun little short! Keep pickin'
Octave mandolino
I thought the same thing it almost looks like a bazooki. I had a 1955 martin mandolin maple arch top hollow body model ab. Smaller shorter fret board only 16-21 frets on whole finger board. more for symphony than bluegrass like I played. softer not as loud. But good for Irish Celtic music. You are correct I remember seeing all the octaves from tiny to large bass models all with Italian names. I know there is a cello like mandolin mando cello.?: .also. Cellos are very beautiful. I just saw giant bass banjo on RUclips also .so I guess they made all kinds of sizes and octaves. Sweet sounds of the double string sets. Nice ring. Otherwise this mandolin looks almost identical to my old 55 martin .just longer fret board. Nice.
P.S.she plays it beautifully.
Irish folk group Planxty played this
Back-sweep so smooth & silky I just lost not nut November
Imagine how that sounds live in that hauntingly big room must be amazing
