Jonathan is a " talk to anyone " type of guy and Shaun is a " cool man " type dude, looks like it worked to me. I like the stool a ton, awesome build with great collaboration between you two. Great video, thanks for posting
Can you explain the danger of cutting out that dovetail on the router? Is it because the shavings/dust don't have anywhere to go so it might want to kick out somewhere, or because its a stopped dado and the piece needs to be held in place while the bit is stopped?
ohhhhh yes yes... the lightbulb just went on.. you really only have one shot to get that the right width and perfectly centered. definitely a good time to use a few scrap pieces to test on. thanks man, great video!
Thanks , it was a great project video. I always love your music selections. Would you give more information on the soundtrack music , so I might be able to have the same musical inspiration when I’m in the shop? Thanks
Great video, subed to shaun already he is a great designer and maker, you guy's looked to have fun it is nice to have some company in the shop sometimes 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great video Jonathan, awesome collaboration as well. I think your styles blend well together!
Thanks bud! I really appreciate it!
Pretty slick! I might make one and add an extra cross brace higher up so it can double as a shop step stool...
Great collab, love how chill Shaun always is 😄
And the stool looks great of course, big thumbs up to the two of you.
Thanks so much bud! We had a blast!

2 contrasting personalities/styles coming together to do something cool. There you go, the US isn’t that divided after all ;-)
We're starting a career as peace keepers hahaha
It's nice looking but is it functional?

If you try to widen it you can only go one way with the piece on one side where the bit is spinning with the movement of the piece
ohhhhh yes yes... the lightbulb just went on.. you really only have one shot to get that the right width and perfectly centered. definitely a good time to use a few scrap pieces to test on. thanks man, great video!
Awesome work guys! 👍👍👊👊
Thanks Freddy!
Aww hell, you had Shaun in the shop so I guess that earns you a sub! I will check out your vids.
Thanks Hotrod!
Let's see the jumping jacks
You should have shown us how to do a parallelogram wedged through tenon; to which the short edges match the front angle of the stool.
That would be awesome!
Thanks , it was a great project video. I always love your music selections. Would you give more information on the soundtrack music , so I might be able to have the same musical inspiration when I’m in the shop? Thanks
All of my stuff comes from subscription based, license free music services like epidemic sound and artlist. Thanks bud!

Your links cover the finished stool at the end of the video...
Thanks you. Fixed
Wait, which link? They seem to be working for me
I think it’s RUclips
Right around 11:22 there are two video thumbnails right in the center of the video that block the stool.
pretty sure it was on purpose LOL
