Boris used racist fears of Turkey joining the EU to campaign for Brexit, conveniently ignoring the fact that his grandfather Wilfred Johnson was originally Osman Kemal, the son of Ali Kemal Bey one of the last interior ministers of the Ottoman Empire. The American equivalent would be if Trump had a Mexican grandfather and still kept up his racist tirades.

I'm no Boris fan but to compare him to trump is a bit disengenous. One is Oxford educated and has a decade worth of experience in public office. And the other is a reality star, who calls himself a stable genius.
Boris has long been calling for the UK to grant amnesty to the illegal immigrants in the UK, in order to bring them into the system. Whilst trump has been seperating kids from their families at the border.

Yes, but the last colony of the British received independence in 1983- not exactly peoples 'ancestors'. Also, there are plenty of people who would love to return to the 'glory days' of the British Empire and still romanticise it, so I believe his joke was meant for those people. Especially apt considering Boris Johnson's comment about the empire in this same video.
Eh Britain was once great now we insignificant island. By the way colonies weren’t all bad as it brought many things such as trade, infrastructure, technologies and more but yes were bad but just wanted to point out some things.
