The Shenandoah piece is beautiful-nice work. Your owl is a challenge but so worth it. You’ll use the floss from the club; it is nice to get something nice in the mail

It is always a pleasure to see your floss tube videos. Your needlework is very lovely, beautiful work. When I do Mill Hill patterns I always bead as I go along. It just seemed to much of a task for me to go back and do it all after the stitching. Your frame is so funny. I do the same thing. I have a bunch of Qsnaps that I call the "boneyard" and I just make any size I need. Hey, that owl is coming along very nicely. Getting your floss of the month is pretty cool too. We all have major stashes! I do hope to see another video soon.

Thank you! It's nice to hear someone else's beads as they go. I really think that is the best route to take and just be gentle. 🙉

I agree with the horse legs. The front ones are bent at an odd level? Maybe halfway up would be better?
That Russian owl will be breathtaking when finished. A friend batiked a similar one on silk! Gorgeous!!

Congrats on your Shenandoah finish! I remember you choosing to start it. I started Shenandoah as part of this year's Maynia projects.@ddestitches I was glad to see how wonderful your recharting of Harrisonburg looked as I was going to put Woodstock, Virginia there for my mother in law's birthplace. As a grandma, I love your book suggestions for my grandchildren. They're 9 and 6 years old. Thanks for taking the time for your channel.

Hi Doreen, I saw your Shenandoah piece - it looks great! I think adding Woodstock would be a nice touch. The valley is so beautiful...it's been too long since I've been down that way!

Happy to see a new video! I get it-- I'm a teacher, too... 18 years and this year was the most challenging. Your finishes are lovely! And that owl... BREATHTAKING!

Love Your big finish, the owl is amazing.
Nice to see you back. I haven’t kept up with anything either, moved also, across country and that takes a lot. I stopped all my clubs, was getting overwhelmed.

Thanks, Rebecca! Yes, moving is such a huge time sink and adjustment. I hope stitching brings you peace and comfort during the transition.

A shame drawer? No need to feel shame over projects that are not fully finished. I toss mine in the bottom of a duffel then cover with not-even-kitted charts. You are in good company and none of us should feel any shame. We do what we can do and we just live our lives.
