This one scene at the end of a season finale is beyond important because Luke Skywalker didn't just save Din Djarin, Grogu, Bo-Katan and Cara Dune. He saved Star Wars 😢
Luke Skywalker is such an amazing character for so many reasons, but the most admirable is his integrity. He may be killing imperials, but when someone is in need, he helps them. No matter what side their on. That is the beauty of Luke Skywalker's character.
When luke showed up in mandolorian and his theme played it was badass as hell. But this is god tier this is no longer the farm boy dreaming of being a pilot on tattooine no this is the bane of the empire the balance of the force the greatest most powerful jedi in the galaxy. We have the incredible Force theme but THIS, THIS is Luke Skywalker's own theme! It is perfect, it's hopeful, it's badass, it's confident, it's mysterious, it is strong and grounded with hints of darkness and light and SO SO powerful! Like, Luke is a friend, and a protector and this theme presents all that! It is EVERYTHING that defines Grandmaster Luke Skywalker the one and only!!
Luke is basically the ONLY Jedi to go over to the dark side momentarily and then return back from it without being corrupted by it. That's what makes him so scary.
@@juangabrielcabardo21 very true, but would Gideon not have cowered to Vader as well? Just like his father, Luke is a living legend throughout the SW galaxy and Imperials are under the impression that he killed both Vader AND the Emperor
The score for Luke's arrival is truly beautiful. It wasn't heroic in the traditional terms, but more like a hero returning to grace. Full praise for your adaptation. May the force be with you.
My whole life has built up to that moment, to see Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master go ham on some bad guys. Loved that he was still wearing black and wielding the green saber, Disney f***ed up when they changed his attire for the sequels.
I would love to witness Ahsoka's reaction if 1. Luke tells her of Anakin's redemption, and 2. Luke offers to train Ahsoka to commune with Force Ghosts, including Anakin. On a different topic, the death would be the inquisitors'. In Rebels, Ahsoka handled two inquisitors alone just fine.
Crazily enough, we just may see something like this in the Ahsoka series. I honestly think that the Ahsoka series is going to be Dave Filoni's send off for Ahsoka. And if I'm correct, I can't see Dave & co passing up the opportunity of letting us finally see Luke and Ahsoka meet. And if I'm being even more honest, not only do I think we're going to see Luke and Ahsoka meet during the Ahsoka series, I think Ahsoka is going to die in Luke's arms. She will die in Luke's arms just after she learns the truth from Luke that in the end Anakin was redeemed. Dave has this uncanny ability of giving us fans what we want, but at a cost. This scene with Luke with from The Mandalorian is a perfect example of that. We finally got to see Luke Skywalker in all his glory, but it came at the cost of Luke taking Grogu away & Grogu leaving the show. I could so see Dave doing something like that with Ahsoka and Luke. We finally get to see them meet, we even finally get to see Ahsoka find out that Anakin was redeemed in the end, but seeing all that will come at the cost of losing Ahsoka. But just like with Luke showing up in the Mandalorian and taking Grogu away, as sad as that was, it seemed right. It will feel the same way if what I predicted above happens with Ahsoka and Luke. It will be incredibly sad, but it will feel like a proper and fitting end for the amazing character Dave helped to create.
This is beautiful. Even when I'm not watching the episode for the 50th time, I still cry. I can see Luke in my mind, I can hear his saber and I can feel the tears pour down my eyes. This is Luke. I grew up as a kid with Luke as my role model in a way. And now that I'm grown up, I look back and i can only imagine what younger me would have thought about the Last Jedi, and the finale to this wonderful show. Lucasarts did an amazing job creating this music, and like always, you dressed it up a little bit and still impressed me. Keep working hard, and may the force be with you, always.
I got chills when I first heard “A friend”. Probably my personal most hype Star Wars moment because I didn’t see any of the prequels in theaters (Mostly cuz of me being 5 when ROTS came out)
Look... I'm not ashamed AT ALL to admit that this music will always remind me of how I was sobbing like crazy when my childhood hero, the Luke Skywalker we ALL remember, arrived and started swinging that beautiful green lightsaber around, destroying all the Dark Troopers. Holy crap that was everything I wanted. The Mandalorian is what I want in Star Wars and this scene was the cherry on top. Filoni and Favreau TOTALLY GET STAR WARS!
"A Real Jedi", you mean a true Guardian of Peace and Justice in the Republic? The Warrior-Monks who were Peacekeepers, Scholars, Diplomats and Oracles? Who dedicated their life to a true and meaningful understanding of the Force and the Code they created to use their powers responsibly, and use them only for Knowledge and Defense? Yes, indeed it IS the first time they've been on screen for over a decade.
What an honor: to orchestrate Luke’s return with full power and humility. This score welcomes his legacy with open arms!! Thank you!!! Return of the Jedi indeed!

I agree, something I wish to happen is for Samuel to make Star Wars songs into Soviet music, I know he did it before and the two arrangements he made were beautiful. I would love to see a Soviet duel of the fates, but it’s Samuel’s channel so it’s all up to him
you woke up and chose to speak facts I see
This theme definitely marks the return of the legend
"The Light is a blade, and so am I" *Luke Skywalker, Jedi Grandmaster*
He’s a blade or a light?
@@cecilabbott6092 I think he means both.

Ayyyyy
This one scene at the end of a season finale is beyond important because Luke Skywalker didn't just save Din Djarin, Grogu, Bo-Katan and Cara Dune.

Rey must’ve had a Will of steel to bypass Jedi training. That’s sarcasm, she should’ve trained, that made no sense
@@DefecTec I agree
Nice Batman Begins reference bro, love that movie
I love how Luke is gentle by nature. The minute he flicks that saber on. Well we all know.
Luke Skywalker is such an amazing character for so many reasons, but the most admirable is his integrity. He may be killing imperials, but when someone is in need, he helps them. No matter what side their on. That is the beauty of Luke Skywalker's character.
Who else was legit almost crying when this scene came on? It felt like a legend come to life, youve only seen Luke do stuff like this in EU comics.
Yes. It was as though a million voices cried out in hope.

I've been a fan of Star Wars for my entire life. I never really thought much of the Original Trilogy or Luke Skywalker. This scene and the incredible score allowed me to see how everyone else views Luke. It turned a fan into a superfan
The Force is strong with you, Master Kim.
The Mandalorian is better than the sequels.
I have spoken.
Agree, while I don’t mind people who like the sequels, it’s still has a lot of flaws and I literally was called sexist for not liking Rey cuz they I hate her because she’s a woman which is wrong. I hate her for the fact that she is just badly written
Hmm, yes, true you are,
"What do you mean? The sequels are good" - Said no one with over two braincells.
May the force be with you all
@@user-jr9gw3gl7z this is the way.
That's what makes him so scary.
what about Ezra?
Would Revan count?
What about Mace?
What about Jar Jar?
@Paulo Eusebio True, but I like to think that the sequels are not canon.
This is what happens when you piss off your boss’s kid. Take note Moff Gideon
I can see Gideon is a Vader wanna be since his suit look similar to Vader'one
@@annoying_HK_guy you mean a wannabe Vader? Vader was a problem for Luke but stood up against him, and Gideon stood there like a coward.
@@juangabrielcabardo21 very true, but would Gideon not have cowered to Vader as well? Just like his father, Luke is a living legend throughout the SW galaxy and Imperials are under the impression that he killed both Vader AND the Emperor
Now this is the right theme for Jedi Grandmaster Luke Skywalker
This scene made my cry tears of joy, and you have just gone and made my cry more you goddamn genius. Don't see how Disney haven't hired you yet
easy answer: They lack vision, which if they had in the first place would have made something even better than they tried to with The Last Jedi.
The score for Luke's arrival is truly beautiful. It wasn't heroic in the traditional terms, but more like a hero returning to grace. Full praise for your adaptation. May the force be with you.
Imagine if we'd gotten this in theaters
that would have been epic beyond imagination
Everyone the world over would have cried tears of utter joy as one of our most beloved heroes returned in all his might and glory.
He's living his dad's memory
My whole life has built up to that moment, to see Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master go ham on some bad guys. Loved that he was still wearing black and wielding the green saber, Disney f***ed up when they changed his attire for the sequels.
Disney can make shows not movies
cringe imagine crying about a space franchise not going the way you want
@Dragon with Internet connection rogue one being the exception
@@dankerbell He’s not crying he’s giving a reason why Disney can’t be trusted with movies
I hate the sequels because of that.
This is outstanding! Like father like son dominating the hallways.
Man this theme is so beautiful, when i first heard it the chills were real. The Luke we deserved.
I am picturing Luke and Ahsoka fighting inquisitors to the death to this and I've made myself cry
That would be amazing 😃
it's my dream. They will be dangerous duo. Thrawn better be cz u r in big trouble.
@@TownieGirl1974I honestly don't know if that's going to happen but it was a great idea ❤
Incredible, cant stop being emotional about anything that has to do with Luke's entrance, excellent music cant wait until its on spotify
I don’t think i will live to see a more culturally significant scene

Yup this is up there for sure. Just as significant as the Thanos snap in my opinion. Less popular, but still.
This would be another Endgame moment if this was in theatres
