IMO, the greatest tip for jumping on skates is to use your toes. Pop off your front wheel as if you were doing a nollie on a skateboard. Most beginners keep their feet and knees completely stiff when trying to jump cause theyre not comfortable on skates. Keep your body loose, crouch, then extend and release while popping off your front wheels and throwing your arms up.
look at all those cuts on his legs!!!! this is the dude u wanna take advice from!!!! 🤣🤣😂😂 lols. just fukn around. homy is puttin in work obviuosly. good stuff. 👍
Really appreciate that you're taking the time to do tutorials for those of us at this level of learning as well as all the advanced tricks and skills 👍👍
Super useful bro. Just getting back on blades tonight and took my 4yo and 10yo out to the rink for the first time. 31 years old. Still got the blades in the blood. Been 15-18 years since I slipped into some blades. Keep it up 👍
I really like how you explain the things. Back to blading after 22 years and I have to re-learn everything I knew. Your videos helps me a lot to fasten up the process. Thank you very much!
Love it. Great break down as ever. I really struggle with jumping due to previous knee n hip injuries. Looking forward to the ledge tutorial cause I've got a real mental block jumping both feet!
I’ve skated on quads and only been able to do shoot the duck lol. 3rd day roller blading and I could probably jump over the width of the yellow lines in the middle of the street. Lol. Could maybe jump the red line.
This video helped a lot as I just got back into blading but could we get a more in depth video on jumping?? Maybe I just need more practice and time but I can't for the life of me jump that high off the ground 😂 idk if their is certain techniques to it or what lol but none the less these tutorials are 👌🏻👌🏻
Anyone has a good suggestion on how to get my kid more in to blading instead of riding on his scooter? He tried it a couple of times on he’s skates, but he more like to ride on the scooter.....
I wish you'd at least wear a helmet while shooting your videos. Harder to get my son to wear one when so many skaters he's watching on RUclips for instruction and inspiration aren't wearing one so he figures why should I. Thanks for making the videos.
@@izzyherrera9804 always wear my helmet. He's happy wearing a helmet. Struggle is getting him to wear other pads. Typing this at a skatepark now and he's got knee pads on as well today.

Get rid of the scooter
Thanks for the tip of bringing knees sidewise.. that’s really helpful; stops you to jump forward and you jump only upwards 😊😊🙏🙏
Just let the kid ride what he wants ro ride. Even if its a scooter
Do cool skate tricks.
They will see and want to copy you.
So do some nice grinds and stuff.
Not much else you can do.
what if you just got skates?
Lace em up and give it a go. Check out my how to rollerblade and how to stop videos. those should help as well. Best of Luck!

Skate with your son and wear all the pads and he will as well. I tell my daughter I look cool because I'm not going to get hurt.

No tricks described.
I'm enjoying your videos too much, but the camera is too high up on you, you can't see your movements clearly.
