“The kick lands on the humerus but there’s nothing funny about it”
Amazing commentator
That's his signature line. Watch Yodsanklai vs Chike Lindsay he delivered it best there.
Honesty he is the best commentator ever, Alma juniku vs stamp fairtex "a 1, 2 kangaroo by the Australian Alma juniku"
"Knee to the bread maker"
Liam Harrison Vs the steel locomotives 😂
"That uppercut almost took out the ceiling light"
I always hated his remarks. Comment on the fight this isn't open mic night
@@blownonpurp makes it interesting
@bhauger1 put yours up.
One championship really bring out the true meaning ofmartial arts. The fighters seem to have so much respect for eachother.
The thai fighters have so much respect for liam as they know he is a brother from a different mother. He fights just like them and they respect the man for it
Thai fighters just smile and still very sportsman . Says a lot about their beautiful culture
@Jocky Rohnson It's just their way of masking any emotions/pain etc. They all do it.
Smile to much, weird
KowSoy Kid haha sounds like most cultures your culture is not like that ?
I love how 'full-of-smiles' Petchmorrakot is, and the respect shown between them
2 absolute machines as well!, Liam: you do the UK proud fella!
his smile is scary
Harrison is a real warrior and showed great sportsmanship at the end
Thais are just tougher than English.
pu be That can’t be it cause Liam has beat plenty of Thais. It has absolutely nothing to do with ethnicity.
@@pube66 He's beat many many thai fighters though
@@ricovillanueva1650 this is glory not thai rules. thai fighter would shred him up
@@mrtibbz10 not in thai rules if elbows and clinch rules weren't taken out hed struggle.
4:45 "as Harrison leans back like Fat Joe" - Michael Schiavello. LMAO
I was just about to type that out and saw this
o m g
Pure class
This made me actually LOL when I heard it
We cant deny harrison have a skill and good fighter.. he was hit solid elbow but he scores a lot..
The thais are just so fuckin good. They are amazing at making adjustments. Round 2 petch switched it up and started walking harrison down and that was the end of Harrison.
Pet was letting Liam do strikes so he can time his perfect attack... Pet started slow on the 1st round then slowly but very quickly put pressure on the second round until the climax.... it's very high level
Petch's tactic and adjustment on 2nd round was spot on. He pawed and measured with his long jab and look openings... a good tactic because Liam was doing counters off Petch's direct attacks.
I think generally he’s a Observe first then unleash kinda guy
What a beautiful take down by Petch at 5:58 it doesnt get any higher level than that.
Dude was too skinny to lift him up, perhaps 100 pounds more and it would have worked ;)
lol
For a lot of yall who don't know the story, Harrison took the fight last minute during his off season, and still had to try and add weight as he was heading towards the fight. Crazy stuff, definitely two fighters I'd want to see match up again with better prep time, even if they do fight different weight classes it'd be fun to see
no excuses from Liam either, took his defeat like a man and showed Petch the respect he deserves, some footballers can't even do that, these warriors were sent from god
El tamaño también es una ventaja para ese luchador te apuesto que si los dos fueran del mismo tamaño Harrison hubiera ganado esa pelea
Thai fighters start off slow, if you can't finish them off in the 1st round be prepared for a tough fight.
totally agree
Your right... Thai is all about setting up for something big. If not the elbows is the knees.
right..first round is just a warm up..
Besides timing and warming up one of the reasons traditional Thai fighters start off slow is due to bets being placed in Thailand each round the bets typically go up
I think at Harriosn level he is thai fighters. He had enough fights to know
Great KO. Harrison is a class act and Petmorakot knows it.
The way he threw the jab and then grabbed the wrist to land that elbow was soooo fuckin sweet
Didn't even realize it was a hand trap. 6:28. I thought Harrison just dropped his hands at first
Good catch
High-level stuff, trapping the opposite side back hand with his own back hand.
Damn good catch. Tricky
Yeah!
Put the post out in the face, pull hand down, strike.
Lomachenko uses this technique as well in boxing.
Sneaky sneaky.
Love Harrison man. That count was fast AF
So you want Liam to be murdered huh? If the ref didn't stop the fight Petch would've destroyed him to death
@@former2081 well, thats not true, nobody is able to beat Liam to death
Love the positive vibe peth just smile it usually a way to shug off the negativity .
He reminds me of a Thai Max Holloway with how much he smiles and seems to enjoy being in the cage

Fast count... Solid elbow nonetheless 💪🏼
Yeah fast count
More like an exact 10-count
ツ yea but its not the refs fault liam didnt turn to face him until the very last second.
@@たける-r8d damn I didn't even catch that yeah he was out of it.
Harrison dropped flat onto his stomach dude, that was a good stopage
The pressure the Thai applied in the second round is fascinating.
thai's always start out slow.
Harrison is a warrior! He had the fight until that elbow.
Love that sportsmanship and mutual respect no artifical emotional conflict
Always puts a big smile on my face. That’s the spirit of combat sports.
To the Liam fan-boys, as mentioned in the comments: he went down flattened, gingerly got to his knees, got up confused and jaded whilst looking around like he had no idea what just hit him, so fast count or not he was done and the result isn't really in queation. If you get knocked down in Muay Thai then you wanna be back on your feet quick, shrugging your shoulders like it's no big thing, and looking the ref in the eye so he can see there is still a light on in there.
Ian F exactly, even if the count was a little fast, the referee has to protect the fighter.
Agreed
I'm Chan, if u don't know what I mean then just doesn't matter, looks familiar with dat name.
Liam Harrison big champion, big Fairplay
Respect!🙏
Harrison is 100% absolute class. Great win for Petchmorrakot.
Wow Liam Harrison still dangerous and explosive one of my favorite muay thai fighters. Good ref stoppage though i would have loved to see him win

and your winner by knockout... MAX HOLLOWAY!!!
😂😂😂
Haha for real. Asian max
Haha I was literally thinking Max’s stand up is like Petchmorakot after watching his last fight
"They slice and dice and fillet" LMAO, commentator describing the Thai's elbow's.
Two great athletes and such honor for one Another great job
sweet little elbow from the guard 4:54
High risk high reward hand trap to land the finishing elbow, very well done
nice catch man and right after the announcer said "he man handles Petchmorrakot". haha that announcer is blind. None of Harrisons shots landed clean but that short elbow of Petchmorrakot woke Harrison up.
@@chardaecharkhom9418 Yeah, Petch felt it land and saw Liam react, he looked for again a little after that.
I usually have the sound off for exactly that reason, serious lack of good commentators across all combat sports and promotions.
You think Haggerty has a chance in the rematch against Rodtang?
@@Merrick I don't keep up with One Championship much but I do remember watching that fight. Haggerty has a good teep and he could win if he keeps the distance. Rodtang is fast though. Will be a good rematch.
I caught that sneaky elbow also. It definitely tagged the Brit.
I'm Thai and I'm a fan liam harrison
Why put a description of the fight in the summary? How about letting viewers watch it and find out the result?
Perchtmorrakot and Nóng-Ở are my heroes of Muay Thai. They also made me respect Liam a lot more because from what I know he has some of the best punches I’ve seen in Muay Thai. All awesome athletes ✊🏼
Thank god vinny isn’t doing the commentary, nice to watch a Liam Harrison fight with the sound on 😂
Gotta love Harrison man, dude got heart and shows true sportsmanship
fighting is like a card game. You never know what is in the other guys hand but the more you train the better your hand is.
Does anyone knows that Petchmorakot once won against Saenchai the legend in 2014 at Ratchadarmneun Stadium? That record shows how great a fighter he is.
great fighters, love that sportsmanship !
World Class Warriors, respect.
It's results like this that makes petro afraid to fight under full muay thai rules.
petro always afraid Muaythai rules lol
hlubsaumhuab cua ... You’re both wrong. Petrosyan is a truly great muay femur, and has proved it many times over. Learn your fighters before you criticize them out of ignorance.
What's the difference between this fight and he full rules? I'm a beginner to Muay Thai is it that they aren't allowed to clinch or something?
Petrosyan fought under muay thai rules too. He actually started with it and he didn't switch to K-1 after a shocking loss. You can say he did it for money, but not because he was scared.
@@Haidderispro These are Muay Thai rules. They are talking about Giorgio Petrosyan
Both of these men are savages. If U watch Liams Instagram videos you’ll see how much of a savage the dude is
Petch, doesn't seem threatening but he's a very smart fighter. He's patient and his attacks are very low risk. It's hard to KO a guy like Petch.
yup he plans on what to do and then increases pressure and momentum til he executes his attack... didn't realize it before but now his attack here isn't coincidental but perfectly timed and analyzed. he used a close counter attack (elbow) against harrison who loves to do low kicks
I watched Liam on a talk show called Anything Goes by James English on RUclips and he came across well, explained the sport well, and I've now watched a few of these contests. I'm a massive boxing fan. In this sport you have to see everything coming, and Liam is really quite a weapon. He takes an elbow in this, and pays the price, but his contests, wow. Some of them leave me feeling a bit sick when the leg kicks go in! Such respect too.
Wow. That was awesome. I love petchmorrakot attitude lol.
your avatar XD
That was a great elbow strike but I thought Liam had just beaten the count.
the problem is did not turn to the ref

Wish I could see more of Harrison's fights. Unfortunately most of the ones out there are him losing. I know he's a great fighter, just not a lot I can seem to find! And such great character, he always looks so excited when he loses like "Yup, that was great... let's do it again!"
Excellent shown of warriorman ship! Not sportsman ship! Salute!👏
That sportsmanship tho!!!! ♥️
The best Muay Thai fighter make it all look effortless.
another one nites the dust. Beautiaful too see thai show pure superiority.
For someone fighting out of his weight class, on short notice I’d say he did pretty well. Got worried when I saw the snows coming though

What a match what an elbow. Congrats guys
that short elbow 4:54
the ref count speed was ok but at his 9 Liam was solid on his feet, i really can't understand why he stopped the fight
So you want Liam to be murdered huh? If the ref didn't stop the fight Petch would've destroyed him to death
@@former2081 liam was doing well prior to that.
At 9, Liam had his back turned to the ref. You gotta be up and looking at the ref before the ref counts to ten, or the ref may just call it off since you're not giving the ref a chance to see if you're okay or not. That said, the count was a bit fast and I would've liked to see the ref let is go for a bit more with a VERY short leash for Liam.
@@turbozed it looked like he stumbled as he stood? Harrison lost like a true champ. so much respect for the technique that finished
@@ahmadal-jafre3261 he was doing well because all thais starts slow in the first round lol
Petch already knew that he needs to KO Liam with his elbow and he know that is the only way to knockout Liam.
Harrison 👍👍👍รายการOne Championship น่าจะมีขึ้นเมื่อชัก9ปี ก่อนจริงๆ คุณทำได้ดีมากเลยละ สำหรับผมสุดยอด Harrison
Petch was like ok I was just playing around at first
That kick before the finish took a while to take effect, but it sure stunned Liam. Would have loved to see this play out longer. Some energy!!
The fight was over when he finally decided to fight
Liam Harrison t'as vraiment un truc en plus , Bravo et Merci !
Round one was close???
Wich year ONE decided to change gloves in muay thai?
Petch well done. Liam a class act warrior like always. 👊
That count was more like 8 than 10 imo... I start my count at 1:52 left of the round...
miss you Hitman on the ring one championship...
Liam is superb warrior and amazing personality
It was Liam Harrison's game all the way till that total destruction elbow move.
LOL nope, it was Pet actually letting Liam do his thing on the first round then very quickly put pressure on the second round until the it was time for the perfect setup. Pet normally does this, he goes slow on the first round and then builds up on the second round until the end
i dont understand one championship. They have boxing gloves in Muay Thai, they have MMA-Gloves in Muay-Thai, they have a ring, they have a octagon. wtf?
Pet had it planned all along, you think he was losing but he was letting Liam continue his program so he can time the perfect strike
1:53 insane
What's up with the big gloves

No fucking way this man is 63 kg, wtf
What’s up with that count? Great shot but he was up quickly
He took his time, then jumped up, only to realize he was not completely there. At the end of the count he was looking in the wrong direction. The ref cannot give more time.
I think he called it off cuz he stumbled back when he finally got up
มันส์
Respect
The refs in this promotions stop fights way too early but I have to admit it was a solid elbow.
liam had his back turned to the ref. he had to face the ref to be counted
Wow I really like this style of muai thai in a circularly walled ring, very interesting
Fast count. Thats not fair.
So you want Liam to be murdered huh? If the ref didn't stop the fight Petch would've destroyed him to death
These guys commentating always cream over Harrison until he loses, again.
What a fight 🔥🔥🔥Liam is warrior
Any time a fighter begins to shift their weight to be able to throw a kick, lift the lead leg, cover, change levels and enter aggressively with counter punches.
What is the title of the song?
3:57
Good that Pet was more serious this time round.. he really gave away his last bout w/ Alaverdi for playing too much.. w/ that said Alaverdi is no joke. Alaverdi vs Harrison would be a sick bout.
Why didn't he fight us with Petrosyan like this? Instead of always using clinch.
Because Petro was boxing his dweebe head in so he had to hug all night.
Secondly, I respect what Liam has done in the sport and for continuing to get fights/contracts on big shows fighting the world's elite, but he is past his best and unlikely to beat anyone of the youth and/or stature of Petchmorokot.
its easy to say that but watch this fight he had some very good moments and with him he's a couple of leg kicks away from beating anyone
@@USER-qs9od easy to say because it is based on reality. I have seen many, many LH fights and while he prospers in rounds 1 and 2 with the leg kick from the outside he's never stopped any 'elite' fighters with it - if you can find me an example of where he has then I will stand corrected. His oponents in the elite camp simply switch their game and fight on the inside (like Petchmorokot did here) or use their superior technique to nullify his game plan and pick him off in later rounds (Pinca, Senchai, Petchasawin etc).
@@ianf8554 regardless of if he stops them our not its wins him rounds and evens the playing field. With the elite fighters its not like he's getting sweeped like crazy in fact he's sometimes the one doing it nobody is steam rolling through him. If they rematch this fight i'd favour liam however unlikely you'll think it to be. He's clearly still at his best.
@@USER-qs9od I agree, his leg kicks can win him the early round or two, and yes he is not getting steam rollered by the elite fighters (except in this fight); he is too experienced and solid - plus he has a big heart. But my original point was that doesn't have just quite enough to beat the very best. His record against the very best suggests that and is a fact. Anyhow, I respect your opinion even if we don't agree.
@@ianf8554 I wouldn't say he hasn't got it to go up against the very best and win but yeah I agree theres a technical barrier in some areas but depending on the opponents style he can often level it with pressure, or leg kicks.
Brave fight from harrison great fan of him .
I would love to see him chop the lead leg of his opponent here look at the position of the southpaws lead foot turned in most southpaws can block for shot with the lead leg.
Two great fighters and a great fight
Идеальный второй раунд
Why Liam couldn’t handle Petch while he actually did quite well against Pakorn, Singdam, Rodlek , Saenchai ? Anyone ?
Peccato
Stava dominando dall'inizio

E con un ottima box

Nah, they done that because the Petro fight was the biggest Robbery in years in K1. Most fans where outraged with the disision otherwise they wouldn’t of changed it 👌🏻
@@floydmayweather5469 nope. They did it because $. The refs and Judges should know their own rules. Especially since there is no 3rd party. All in house.
