When he was an Eriboll north Sutherland. He was regularly caring whole Stags of the hill on very rough terrain.Very strong tough man in his prime years
JA's parents were from our island, Leódhas agus na-Hearadh, in the Western Isles and lived in Loch Ailort. His parents were from na-Hearadh (Harris) and there were, and still is , many, many men that are strong like that in our islands. The Basque men in some districts are reputed to be the same. JA used to come across here trialing and was a character with great stories. It was grand to watch him run and hear the stories. Duine comasach(an able man)👍

18:30 this man just hoisted 300 lbs on his back and walks off. Wtf? I am in my prime, work out a lot and squat 350. I couldn’t imagine walking around with it let alone on uneven ground. And at 70? Ah, ok🏆😂

Looks like his pull over has given good value!.
That guy with John near the end is Donald mcdonald and at the cars a min later is lain stirling, two great gentlemen also long gone.
Picks up 127kg stag carcass and carries it on his back over hill and dale to home.
Top dog man and top stock man 👍👍
Wonder man, a tribute to our clan.
That old boy was strong carrying a deer out like that I bet when he was 25 years old he could carry two out like that

1990. Check the conversation at 24.22. They ask the man how long had he been with his employer, and he says since in 1930, and then he say 60 years.
The Welsh language version is Cefn Gwlad (The Countryside)
He was my brand father
If I may ask, what is the name of that tartan of the kilt he is wearing?
@@jussikujanpaa6792 I'm not sure I will ask my mum

R.I.P Dai. Cysga'n Dawel
My grandfather
What if he herded all the sheepinto one big pile then jumped in
The sheep did not graze at all just runing here and there for the occasion of filming the video .
He says he needs to move them up each day as he has no fence lower down.
