Saba is a gorgeous island, not at all a "dangerous airport", yes the shortest commercial runway, but that is part of the thrill and beauty, not dangerous, certainly not outside of hurricane season. Definitely recommended to visit!
1. Crimea is a peninsula. 2. Frazer Island now called K’gari is one of the safest islands I’ve been to - just compare the murder/non-natural death rate to the island of Manhattan - I’ll take my chances with some silly dingoes and the occasional rip-tide versus NYC taxi drivers and subway riders. You also have zero chance of freezing to death on K’gari. 3. To be fair, the French nuclear testing in the Pacific with 179 French tests at Moruroa Atoll was significantly more destructive than the US testing. 5. Coming from Papua New Guinea, I’d suggest Hispaniola and particularly Haiti would give us a run for our money on most levels of human dangers… followed by Manhattan of course. 😜 Other than that great list except you forgot Anak Krakatoa- you know that little constantly erupting volcano off the coast of Java. .
The section on Crimea is completely wrong. The bridge that was blown up was built by Russia after they annexed Crimea in 2014 and connects Russia to Crimea not Crimea to Ukraine as stated on this vid.
The Kerch Bridge was by build by Russia at the cost of $3.7 billion and it doesn't connect with Ukrap. It connects Crimea with Russia and is also the longest bridge in Europe
Battle ship Island off Japan was used to dig out coal with workers living there, it had about 9 floors and a stair case that was completely straight so when people tripped nothing would stop them and taking others with them nicknamed the stairs of death with no lifts, it's name came from USA submarines periscope views made it appear like a Japanese battleship & was torpedoed at least twice, it was abandoned long ago but Parrot's still speak Japanese.
Interesting how this list became a list of 12, what happened to 14, 6, and 1? May make a note if they are missing (and why?) in your description. Elsewise this is a great listen. Thanks
There's nothing really scary about these places like a couple are a little creepy but people made it that way. The rest arnt scary its just geologically strange sometimes.
Crimea is a poor example and it is part of Russia and has been for years so incorrect in saying, it is trying to annex itself. I'm somewhat surprised you didn't include Haiti in this list
@@RogerStewart-l5m Oh ok. To me as im older than most pl here, it is al, still USSR, just like how my parents came from Yugoslavia, to me in my heart and soul, it still is Yugoslavia.

You could start that list with Tuvalu and some of the Fijian Islands. Tuvalu is a sovereign country that's currently experiencing problems over the last 10-15 years with encroaching seawater affecting the freshwater levels. They have brought their concerns to the UN, but have been met with indifference and ignored by them so far. Soon there will be Climate change refugees leaving these islands looking for higher ground to live on
Can we stop putting Sentinel Island on these lists, it’s on about every “don’t visit here” video around and I’m pretty sure we all know about it by now.
About thilafushi island information is outdated right now and now the island is cleaned its garbage and you will see greenery as if its a brand new island added a artificial mountain.

Oh hey! You're that guy from Simple History! Love your narration and voice over work!
Saba's airport has never had an accident. That's what happens when EVERYONE is ALWAYS careful. No one ever lands there casually.
I feel like we’ve talked about North Sentinel Island like 30 times now
Interesting. Thanks for sharing 👍

The section on Crimea is completely wrong. The bridge that was blown up was built by Russia after they annexed Crimea in 2014 and connects Russia to Crimea not Crimea to Ukraine as stated on this vid.
Exactly, not to mention that Crimea is a peninsula, not an island. There's a narrow piece of land that connects Crimea to Kherson oblast in Ukraine
I flew into and out of Saba. The pilot was very good. He demonstrated what the twin otter airplane was capable of.
Crimea is not an island it's a peninsula.
I thought so, but it works for the video.
I'm pretty sure it's swamp, between Crimea and 'the mainland'
KGBPutin go home.
It's damn near an island it's connected to Ukraine by a mile-wide piece of land..🤏🤷

Nah, crimea is definitely not one of the scariest islands, it ain’t even an island
Crimea is not an island, but peninsula
Crimea is not an island but a peninsula. And the bridge connects Russia to Crimea - not Ukraine. (Built by Russia)
Port Moresby sounds terrifying

How did you ask them? Learn a language nobody on Earth knows except them? 😂

Papua New Guinea is the most ethnically diverse country- so many different cultures

For some reason the video is skipping straight from the end of #2 to partway through the outro.
on the bright side, with miyake jima, at least you probably can't smell your own (or other people's) farts...
