Im in Roanoke atm and im growing tons of food in the city but i cant own animals im looking to starta homestead but having problems finding land vlose to roanke thays affordable. Love seeing this brings me.confidence that we can do this at 40 years old . Its never to late to start living folks!
I know how much work it is just growing a garden for our family without adding in the full time job or marketing the produce. You look excited, but tired. Be careful for burnout and stress on the family unit. We have found having a mountain feist to be the BEST garden dog. She kills snakes and all rodents including bunnies. Our girl is aging so we are already planning to get a new puppy so we dont have any time for pests to move in and multiply. God bless (from VA)!

great video until I saw the fans placed over fiberglass and blowing on the lettuce :( he needs to cover the fiberglass in the ceiling or just get rid of it cause it only causes mild here down in Virginia.
I have no clue where Redfern comes from When I was visiting Australia I got off at Redfern railway station As you know lush & fern that’s a place I was born & raised ( kandy. ELLA srilanka )
Unsure about the fiberglass insulation above the drying fans, but everything else is absolutely amazing
Another awesome peak into an awesome family farm setup.
