The most satisfying thing about this is that the Padres manager allowed him to finish the game. Dave Roberts would have pulled him after six innings. Most other managers in today's MLB would have let him go seven or eight.
This entire video and this amazing feat by Dylan Cease has nothing to do with Dave Roberts and Dodgers, but they still occupy y 'all's heads rent free. That chip is DEEP! lol. Congrats to Dylan Cease anyway.
@@joecook1989 as a Dodger fan she is right. dave Roberts must lead the league in pulling pitchers out of no-hitters or after 5 innings with only 60 pitches so Yohan Ramirez can blow the game & keep'em in the game so the opposing team can score 6 runs lol
the fact that Arraez gave him the ball from the last out is pretty special, considering Arraez broke the last no-no a couple of years ago! Really cool gesture!
Thank you MLB for deleting the previous upload of this video and doing Dylan Cease, the Padres team and their fans by using the correct play-by-play call with Don Orsillo and Mark Grant. It was odd having to watch the replay with the Nats callers resigned to the fact their team was about to get no-hit. Dylan, Don and Mud FTW!
As a fan of the farm team on the Southside of Chicago, I am happy to see one of our prospects do well in the big leagues. Hopefully, Garrett Crochet will do well once he gets to the bigs as well.
I tried lobbying StL POBO Mozeliak hard in the off-season to make a trade for Dylan Cease, to restore the Cardinals' pitching rotation for 2024. It was clear to me Cease was not losing anything in Chicago last year, it was poor defense behind him. Congratulations Dylan. The no-hitter was well-deserved.
he came out of the 'break' like he wanted everybody to know "Im the head motherf**ker in charge up in here!"..if you have him and King pitching the way they are right now, headed down the stretch, then anything that Mugrove gives you, is a perk, when he gets back....but obviously the reason they need a top shelf starter is because it looks like Darvish isnt going to make it back. Fun thing about no hitters is how you celebrate and brag about the pitcher, because you felt like it was YOU throwing the pitches.😆
First no hitter this season correct? Well I'm not even close to being a Padres fan. But baseball is the greatest and most exciting sport ever? Plus you gotta give props and respect when it's got its due. Great outing young man. Go DODGERS!!
Great work, Mr. Cease It*s ironic that this happened cause th last few days I*ve been thinking it*ll happen one o these days again. but it*s also interesting contemplating what are th odds that a guy puts it all together. Health, keeping th nats off balance, ☔️ comes to mind as a possibility

This guy spitting facts. I love how managers pull pitchers because of pitch counts but the pitcher goes down with an injury later on anyways.

Astros fan here but I really like Cease and enjoy watching him pitch. Congratulations to him on an outstanding job.
No matter the team or the player, I can always appreciate the no no. Congrats Cease!
Dylan never ceases to amaze me. Well deserved, congrats
Dylan cease has been killing it recently
Since that start against the Braves, he's been a beast.
True!!
Congratulations Dylan Cease. A no hitter and only 2 hits in his last 22 innings with 30 strikeouts. Awesome!

@BobbyMack-c8q 👍
Cease has some ridiculous stuff. I’m glad swords became a stat bc it perfectly describes how difficult it is to hit off him
the Nats Offense "Cease'd to Exist" (yes I know its a terrible joke) 😂😂
As the kids say, "stand on business man." Nice one.
Bruh
Edit, dad joke at it's finest😂
Actually,pretty good.
I think you made a very good joke.
100% Padres fan

The pitcher looks like Wyatt Earp all day with that stash! 🐎🤠
Friar Faithful stand up 👏 👏.
Congrats from a Cubs fan👏👏👏
Nationals start by sweeping the Reds and now they are swept by the Padres. Baseball is an unpredictable game
Yup and so was Strasburg 😊. Still love the Nats. Was not a boring World Series in 2019
Amazing Dylan! Well deserved 👏

How amazing would it have been if Luis Arraez was able to pinch-hit in the 9th?
