I honestly am disappointed this game doesn't just is Flatout 1 + 2 with better physics, damage etc. It's really quite serious even though the name suggests otherwise. Sure you've got the destruction modes and there can be big crashes. But why can't I eject my driver through the front window?
Yeah agreed , Flatout 2 is hands down up there as the king of destruction , shame as a little more effect put in could have near perfected this game , the contact animation between vehicles is pretty shocking , major let down on that , the vehicle damage is nice along with the visuals , just feels like its missing that little certain something
With this game on expert mode expect some intense, destructive races. I’ve found myself hitting the “restart” so many times. I’ve had a blast playing this.

The game isn’t perfect but is it fun? Hell yeah it is. Been playing it nonstop since release and it’s just the type of game you want to play after a long day and shut your brain off. I would say it’s worth the purchase
Ok so I’m in challenge series now so 50-60% way through, its fun to play but very repetitive and little buggy online is a fuster cluck tho really lets the game down . Rubberbanding, servers slow to load, swapping cars can freeze out resulting in you having to reload game. Also you can’t make private races for you and friends so no lawn mower derby I’m afraid. Buy it at your own risk I’d wished I’d waited for a sale.

Destruction Derby 2 was one of a kind. None of these other games even come close. Not even Carmegeddon.
Not perfect, but very fun imo. The demolition derby style of games always have a special place in my heart cus of the Flatout series
