- I Built the Most Nostalgic Moment of the Clone Wars as a LEGO Star Wars Moc! Today I am challenging myself to build my most nostalgic moment of the clone wars as a lego star wars moc. This one definitely had its challenges but I think you will enjoy the end result and maybe get some lego moc ideas of your own. Everything coming together via lego time lapse build as well.

This es exactly how you should build LEGO. You do not get distracted by not always having the right parts, colors or quantities. You just use what you have and adjust your plans. I think a lot of people can get inspired by your approach. Great work!
This is a great summary of one of the reasons why I do these style of videos. Just starting with what you have practicing, and slowly building up your collection. I have found it has also made me more creative in trying to solve problems with the parts I have instead of just buying new parts that would work.
Very nostalgic! The only thing missing is that one clone who punched the droid and then got shot 😂

This is definitely nostalgic! I remember trying to recreate this battle as a kid, using stormtroopers as background clones cause I didn’t have enough lol

I saw the cannons on the thumbnail which made me think of christophisis.The hexagons turned out amazing and there was commander cody in it.
The thumbnail was a giveaway for a lot of og fans I think.
Maybe you could build the battle with the Zillo Beast? It’s just an idea but I have only seen one other person making it so it would be very unique

It hurts to cut off of your original design for the MOC, I feel that pain. I love the hexagons and the detail on the side walk that brought me right back to when I first saw Cody and Rex and thought Ashoka was as snippy as ever. Truly nostalgic.
Oh ya for how bad some parts of that movie are it's such a nostalgic one. Same with the battle of Teth.

If you do end up building Christophsis In a full moc, lego is selling trans blue 6x1x6 wall pieces on the online pick a brick best sellers! Loved the video! Animated Phase 1 Clones are my favorite!
I would love to see a Lotho Minor build challenge, a little segment of Savage Opress wallking, searching. That or even the cave where he finds Maul, or when the mysterious Junkers attack him. Would be interesting to see how you would approach the junk details

Thanks man! The hexagon is a surprisingly tough shape for me to build, I am gonna play with this one some more and see if I can get the two halves to connect without the little gap.

I am sooo stealing that round step technique for one of my MOC’s! 😂 Super cool, and I actually like the cut out area.

It took a long time to collect.
I think a ventador hangar would be a cool MOC idea, great for displaying all diferent vehicles - at-te,at ot and gunship in the middle with trooper squads around them, and one of each of the republic starfighters in those side cubicles we saw every time a mission was over. You could build it by first doing the side cubicles in a video format like "3 mission aftermath dioramas" example: fives and echo join the 501st, asohka y-wing squad incident scolding, darth mauls escape with the attack shuttle, and the middle could be done by just putting the clones that you recently decalled or are meaning to use on a MOC there first so you know what you have or even to reveal the next moc series like that( like they are traveling to the planet the MOC is based on)
I do have a Venator hanger build coming up unfortunately it will just be a prop for a what if story so there won't be much in the way of detail.

Also you should do a clone wars vehicle moc challenge and build on of those battle droid boarding ships that smash into a ship and release the droids.

This battle and the initial battle of Teth were great. I do miss seeing at-te climbing vertical structures tho.

Really like this more than the 3 MOCs format. You can focus on one superior MOC.
Never seen the movie. Watched clone wars 2003 as a kid and loved it, but then the 2008 animation was too ugly and decided not to watch it. Until a few years ago as an adult.
The movie is a rough watch outside of the battles haha.

No it doesn't damage the pieces I have used that technique for years and have yet to see a single piece break.
