Would love a video about highly depreciated lease return electric sports and high end cars Audi e tron/ taycan/ plaid/ Mercedes eqs sedan and suv/ lyriq/ rivian r1t/ hummer ev
This is the latest market update for the taycan: ruclips.net/video/Xov9DIojESQ/видео.htmlsi=5DNhFqa2QqvjIEkw Unfortunately i do not have any plans at the moment to include more electric models.
There’s something else to consider, that F355’s engine out timing belt change will sink any appreciation/depreciation you netted. The Porsches will take less in maintenance.
Think you missed out on the Elise. And I think you're mistaken calling the 987.1 base the most reliable of that gen, I think the 987.2 got rid of the bore scoring and IMS issues, hence the premium. Otherwise fun video.
Cayman is a great car, but been collecting cars for almost 20 years and been an enthusiast for 40+. Porsche is the “it” brand lately, and good for them, but the water cooled cars are loaded with tech, both in powertrain, suspension, and the interior. And there’s way, way, way too many of them. Drive them and enjoy them because outside of some of the GT cars, they’re really not collector cars. Depreciation is coming, only a question of when.
Say the ev cayman arrives, what will be your alternative? The gr86 will cease sale and they are £30k for a basic 4 cylinder built to a budget. The 911 is a different proce league, all you have is used 987/981/718 gts 4.0 out of the NA cars, the 987 is quite old a prone to borescore, the 4.0 still has some way to go but they'll be based on milage and condition. I don't think they are collectors cars, but the 981S/gts and gts 4.0 will do well to hold value

Hope this video can enlightened delusional C8 owners. If you visit their forums, they think c8 is exotic super car like Ferrari that go up in value. They also love to talk about 1 of 1 optioned car on MASS PRODUCED sports car.
The median price for a 650S (coupe+spider) was 155k at the end of the year. For a 570S this was 152.9k (coupe+spider). A 570S spider, though, had a median price of 169.9k mainly because they were on average 2 years newer. The price trend shows higher median prices to correct for changes in the market composition (eg suddenly more cars for sale with a low mileage). In this case, the impact on the price trend was relatively large. I probably should have mentioned that in the video. In the 570S market, for example, it results from an above average difference in the price development between the low and high mileage cars.

Great summary, thank you!
Cries in MR2
Good to know my 718 GTS is holding its value. Thanks for the vid!
I love this channel

Otherwise fun video.
Sitting back enjoying life with my 16’ cayman GTS still rising, mind you pccb’s and GTS interior add some coin too .
It will be nice if you could try to analise the market of 4C separately for Spider and Coupe. Spider seems to have other path 😊
GT4RS and Spyder RS are not evaluated in any category ? How do they do ?
Can you please do a video on depreciation of Maserati granturismo 2008-2013 as well as BMW Z4 2009-2016?
That's odd. Are the sterrato's really losing that much value? If anything they've gained in prices unless I missed something.
What model of currently produced Mercedes Amg is the one that holds it value the best?
Is the Lotus Emira First Edition a mid-engine car and not worthy of analysis? Thx for your input back!
That's the Emira V6
Your median measurement puts the gt4rs and spyder rs somewhere straddling mid and high but they're not on eithet
Bmws in the main appear to loose money quite quickly?
Did you ever buy a cayman/boxster?
So Acura NSX not appreciating but does not depreciate that much either.
Over time Acura NSX will do better.

I would love to see an update on the 12 Cylinder Ferraris like 599, f12, 812 etc
@@YouGrowIGrowyes. I’ve started eyeing a 550 or F1 575, an overview of that segment would be handy.
@@mh68211 same! I’m trying to buy a 599 GTB so I’m hoping a market update could provide some clarity on real price trends

Honestly I feel like this sentiment should apply to almost all Porsche product too
never buy new
Get an AW11 and you're the winner
The 718 Spyder is the best bet. It’s also Peak Porsche for the money.
..Alpine A110..
570’s and 650’s are not $170 grand. Have you looked at autotrader?
