    So lee, you dont stake 5ft out for each leg? We put one stake at the feet and one 5ft out. Is that to much?

      Every tent setup has its quirks. High peak frame tents are staked down at the legs. Sometimes you might need to run ratchets for extra stability, but honestly, I’ve only needed to do that a few times.
      Pole tents are a whole different story. You have to stake them at a specific distance and keep everything squared to get the right shape and tension. Frame tents, on the other hand, get their stability mostly from the frame itself, which makes them easier to set up in some ways.
      Knowing these differences can save you a lot of headaches and make sure your tent is safe and secure.
