Welcome to a new series on my channel where I go over some basics and tutorials of Planet Coaster. Recently I've seen a few friends struggle with how to do a Boomerang coaster. I myself had never attempted one yet either so thought I'd give it a shot. After experimenting with a few things I think I have the perfect Boomerang coaster construction method down pat and wanted to share this knowledge with those who are new to the game or just would like learn. Hope you enjoy the video

I like to build the Boomerangs The Classic Way or maybe with an Airtime Hill instead of a Second Loop for the creativity one
Great video! Building one in my park for the first time so I wanted to make sure I was approaching it the right way. Nice hint with which way to do the cobra roll
Glad it helped!
@@PHENIXXCREATES It definitely did! Thank you! I actually had to turn my track piece about 6 degrees after the loop at it looks little off but when riding it it is super smooth
I’m getting Planet Coaster and this is really helpful.
Glad you enjoyed.
Me to
thanks for showing me how to build these! this really helped :)
Glad I could help!
Please do a tutorial for the giant inverted boomerang
Not sure if anyone would be interested in that these days.
so.. no boomerangs have a double loop. But maybe your thinking of The Moonsault Scramble which Arrow built. It didn't have a double loop but it was definitely unique and was a boomerang type ride. It was at Fuji Q in Japan.
Arrow didn't built that ride meisho constructed it
@@staringcorgi6475 good to know
I LOVE the boomerang, you get great g force on them
Just subscribed to your channel
Thanks.. I appreciate it
Thank you for the tutorial!
you can also make an inverted one, right?
Yes.. but its a lot more restricted
i am good at building vekoma boomerangs in planet coaster, but they are alot slower than in real life
friction can now fix that a bit
Question: where's the friction turn off button?
Im getting planet coaster on friday
Every time I build these they always stop it at the station after going up the lift
interesting. I'm not sure why unless Frontier has changed something since I made this video. I've never had that particular issue as of yet.
I cant place the first end piece pls help
Must be pc only, doesn’t work for me on Xbox X
I don't think the console version was even out when I made this video. and I only play games like this on PC. Way more options and control.
what do i research to get this in challenge mode?
for the trident
I rarely ever touch Challenge mode.. I couldn't tell you.. I think everytime you play its different though as to the order of what you can research.. its a coaster.. so if you keep researching the coasters you'll get it.
(backwards)
It goes wat too fast
I checked the one i built in Crystal Gardens using friction controls at 0.3 witht eh double loops I like to do personally.. max speed is 46mph. I checked boomerangs on RCDB and it matches up about right.. 47 to 48mph. I don't think I set the friction that low in this video. So they are probably going slower than this. I don't think its too fast at all.
Looks not real at all
Well.. It's a game....
these coasters can be much larger and more interesting with a little creativity. building it at the top of a hill can allow for way more speed, and the second incline doesnt need to be parallel with the first one.
I just built a quite long track that doubles back on itself for 3/4 of the way then breaks off for the second incline. this allows you to use the same scenery for the entire track too
