@annarenee9872 It's nice and all that you're happy and he improved your life for you and you're together 20 years later. However, that is not the way it works out most of the time.
In 99% of cases, a woman who has partied, slept around, etc, will hit rock bottom, find a nice guy, use him for every last drop that he is worth, sucking away all of his life and resources to reenergize her own, then when he's completely exhausted and tapped out from building her back up, she will usually cheat and leave him or in rare cases just leave him before the cheating. She will then go out, get smashed and drained and repeat the cycle over and over until she is 34, completely wrecked and upset that four abortions later she doesn't have a husband and kids.
I'm saying all of this so young men out there realize that "I can save her" is a joke and a meme for a reason. That reason being that it never works out.
As for these sort of women, do everyone a favor and go get yourself completely in order on your own instead of destroying good men. When you pull this crap, these once "nice guys" become players and dbags. Now the actual good and traditional women out there are left with little options.
Before I receive the inevitable, "I'm going to deflect blame and responsibility by asking who hurt you" replies, I'll put it like this.
I've known many good men this has happened to as I am 40 and have seen it all. It has also happened to me personally and unfortunately I didn't learn the first time, it took two of these harpies to make me realize they can't be fixed. I then became a player unfortunately, but stopped living that way six years ago.
Be careful out there young men, I'm only saying this to help protect any of you.

My husband literally saved my life from rape, molestation, drugs, to 4 years in prison, to relapse, to 5 miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy, finally my husband coming to save me after 15 years of wanting to date him.... He picked me up and put me back together again piece by piece! We've been together 9 years married 7
And he was my best friend of 20 plus years brother. I never knew love, and everyone told us not to do it, we wouldn't last, I was bad for him, blah blah blah... Here we are 9 years later married, clean, our own place, and a beautiful five year old daughter! Istg I've never known happiness until him. You and sav literally make music that fit him and I PERFECTLY. I send every song of yours and hers to him all the time lol keep putting out hits!!!! Istg I've never related to any artists the way I do you guys. BTW been clean almost 6 years my husband stayed, even when I tried pushing him away, he stayed and put me back together. I honestly believe I wouldn't be here if he'd never come into my life. Thank you for your music❤❤❤ I really hope you guys make your way closer to me in Mississippi or Memphis, TN.

Damn… breathless. We all go through this and the saddest thing is I can relate and so can a lot of America… thank you for putting it in a perspective that states truth. But the best advice of all for young women would be don't live a lifestyle that could end up having you needing to heal. Don't sleep with anyone until married, don't party, use drugs, drink or smoke. Traditional and conservative values will lead to a fruitful life.
Some of us don’t get that choice of not living that lifestyle some of us grow up with it. I’m saying someone still loving you as you’re healing yourself, and being understanding. It’s not always about relationships or sleeping with random people. Learn to look at all aspects.

This song grabbed my soul from the moment I heard it. I feel like the lyrics understood my husband and I.. when my now husband came home from work one day I was falling apart in the shower and just laying at the bottom of the tub weeping..he tapped on the bathroom door and calmly let me know he was coming in.. he wrapped me in a towel and carried me to our bed where he had lit some candles and got up and pulled out a ring. He popped the question and I cried even more and asked him if he was sure.. he said yes and something else I'll never forget "I'll still be here when you are done being crazy." I giggled and said it's a part of me that will never leave .. and he said "and neither will I." We got legally married May 4th 2022 and he once again reminded me in our vows and then we had a pagan handfasting September 10th 2022 where he also told me again. Any time I am in a "mood" he will hold me and say those sweet words. My husband is a gentle giant and I always feel safe in every way with him. We listened to this song the moment it was released and he teared up with me and said it sounds like a page ripped right out of our love story. He's not wrong. Thank you for this song.. thank you for the realness. Thank you for showing the world that even us broken people are worthy of love regardless of our mental health.
