i've been to the Aburi Sushi in Long Beach many times pre-pandemic, now that location is only a la carte and the Gentleman on the phone was nice enough to tell me that the Buena Park, OC location has AYCE

I just went there tonight. Why is your uni so huge, and ours was so tiny??? Yes my uni was puny. Yours was not the same we got???
This might be a good AYCE sushi place but I do not recommend for a group of more than 4 ppl. Went here for a friend’s birthday dinner and we picked the premium AYCE but realized we were limited to how much we could order. So is that a true AYCE?? As for the food taste, it was ok and lots of options. One thing that was good about this place was (maybe cuz we ordered a lot and drank a lot), we were able to take the leftovers.
How many people did you go with? Wondering because they definitely gave several orders of premium "I piece/order" items

Idk but aubri is overrated been twice. Rather go to sake2me in Cerritos. I think aubri is only popular because of their sushi challenge
X Fish seems to get a lot of bad reviews. It makes me nervous. lol

I went there year ago under old management i didnt like it, not good.
You should go in Aikan Sushi & Ramen in Artesia too really boom & highly recommended(used to be Aburi) if I'm not mistaken.

sashimi is fresh but kind of small. 2nd and 3rd round are slow. Eggplant is out in the morning??? Not recommended.
Steve…I’m so sad 😢!! I felt like a bait and switch from Aburi restaurant.
I was so excited seeing your video so I went to this restaurant to find out what you got as an influencer is different then someone who walks in from the street 😢 The big fabulous plate that you got…they did especially for you.
You got 2 of all their special items that they gave only 1 for regular customers off of the “sashimi menu”. Worse was that each item was so thinly sliced…a little bigger than 1 chopstick for each item!!
My jaw dropped at how poor the fish quality was and how tiny each sashimi pieces were. I would say that this place is a winner if all you wanted were rolls!
Please go in to your next restaurant reviews without telling them you are an influencer. I just want to see what they really serve to regular customers like us.
Just give me The Fish! Not The Rice.
