    dont understand how u draw this diagonal lines with ur brush?

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  6 лет назад +6

      If you press shift while you're painting, it would create straight lines. select your brush, click once someplace and then click somewhere else while pressing shift and that would create the diagnoal lines :) hope its helpful

  • @augusto7681
    @augusto7681 5 лет назад +2

    It look beautiful at the end but it is harder to make than a regular render and its very time consuming.

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 лет назад +3

      Thank you, yes i understand but when you are selling a project to a client these kinds of renders are important as they will be very excited and when your working in a office people do this as a job but doing it personnaly yes it does take a long time.

    • @augusto7681
      @augusto7681 5 лет назад +1

      @@SurvivingArchitecture I believe that in a office you don't have time to make this, there is a lot of work to do, "time is money" (unless you are hired just to do illustrations). I think they are great to publish in website like deezen or to put in portafoglio otherwise is not worth to make this to a regular client.

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 лет назад +1

      Yes that what i mean there are people in the office who do this as a job as you said, yh of course its all just about showing youre idea in context as real as possible, i agree :).

    I prefer to cutout a woman ;) Excellent job you did here, great PS skills. You should work Non-destructive using mask and smart objects, way easier to fix stuff then. Also you will keep original resolution and thus can scale the image up if needed. Now you you degraded the image quality essentually. Also organizing layers by name, folder hierarchy and color will make you file much more organized and possible to pass to anyone else to be edited.

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  6 лет назад

      Excellent tips! I always say to my self that I should organize my layers but I could never do it! I'm way too lazy for that lol! but I will definitely try next time ;) Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a wonderful comment like that!

    • @RomboutVersluijs
      @RomboutVersluijs 6 лет назад

      Surviving Architecture there is one tio which will blow your mind ;) normally when you right ctrl right click or cmd right click you will see the structure of the complete file. I use thjs to wuick select layers. You can do that if everythi n g is a copy of a copy of a copy or layer 1 23455 etc etc.
      Start naming ALL layers and give the main folders a dot or long dash and sub folders a shoet dash. Now when you right click you get a sort of sitemap structure. Super clear and visible what layer is what. Ill make screengrab from on of my bigger files so you understand better

    • @RomboutVersluijs
      @RomboutVersluijs 6 лет назад

      Look here's an example, this file hasnt that much layers. BUt using this method really helps finding stuff and also if you need to pass the file to someone else. He/she can make out was is what. www.dropbox.com/s/5ovt7g3xj4pate4/PS_layering-system_Naming.jpg?raw=1 Because of the dots and long dashes, i know exactly what is a folder and what is a subfolder, great hierachry ;)

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  6 лет назад

      You know what!! its really much easier to look at that small list than to skim through all the layers ughhhh lol!! Thank you for taking the time to teach me something and to actually show me an example. Theres one thing though I might be doing wrong. After I press Ctrl+Right Click and I see the structure, I can only see the groups. I cant see any layers. :/

    • @RomboutVersluijs
      @RomboutVersluijs 6 лет назад

      Is that windows? Caus it should show all layers. But keep in mind.... It shows only that what is below the cursor. This menu is for quick selecting items. On Mac we can Command Click to quick select layers, but if there are so many layer you can us this trick. But if you dont name layers, its one big mess.
      So try click around, try to hit a spot in the image which you know 100% certain has many layers below it
