@@doctorpanigrahi9975 this was ten years ago my friend haha But yeah I agree, not necessary anymore. I love my android phone, the oneplus 6t. Still performs really well after two years. Probably upgrade to the next pro phone from the oneplus I imagine. Next year sometime
@Daethsoul767 the size of the screens are the same 4.3 that correct, but its length & width thats different. the evo has a streched wide screen while the droid x has a more narrow screen. I hope that helped :)
I think which ever one you get you will be happy. I have the EVO my friend has the Droid X. They are both great. I wouldn't trade my EVO for the world!

@sk8der15 dont worry about the battery just get an extended battery that lasts like 3 times as long... i like the evo cuz its for sprint and its something different all the verizon phones are so similair its ridiculous

@vincent8er apps are little programs, usually under 16 MB. they can range from games, to really anything else. thats the wonder of it. theres an app for mostly anything, hence the saying, "theres an app for that." and i have a crappy x-tc too!
Just had to point out something you didnt mention. The droid X lets you use the notification bar while in browser mode and the evo doesnt. thats a BIG browser feature and should have made it a tie if anything.
Every video you've done browser speed test with the Evo and it's not fair when the Evo is trying to load flash content....you can turn off the flash content on the Evo...go into the browser and into settings and you'll see it. Then I believe this levels the playing field when it comes to browser speed.
@mrcheckmateX 4g for Sprint is scheduled to be just about everywhere by December. So the $10 surcharge is not that big of a deal. Even with the surcharge, Sprint is still cheaper than Verizon. So by December, every HTC Evo 4g and Samsung Epic 4g will be blazing past with 4g speeds, most likely decimating Verizon service. But I guess we will have to see if Verizon spits out a 4g network as rumored to be,

Then we have the droid incredible with htc since, it has a 8gb internal memory with 2gb memory. and snapdragon. and then

These phones are basically the same, the differences are very minor, my friend who has the Evo and I switched phones for a week and i prefered the front camera on the evo, but for me the Droid X seemed a bit faster.
both are pretty fucking awesome! I would get one of these instead of iphone if I was looking for a phone, unfortunately, im stuck with mytouch for the next 1.5 :(
the droid x is skinny and taller so the fact that it has more lines going across means nothing cause it fite the same amount of text if not less and on the htc evo 4g you can turn the contrast and brightness up
On the evo the live wallpaper is HOT! The droid not so much, but it's still great! Jon do you have a lot of ambition for doing this the most I would do id like 10-15 minutes in like 5 parts because I get mad hungry :) !
the droid x is a great phone and the evo and droid dont really have any blaring differences except for evo's front facing camera but other then that its all around the same phone

I've been experienced using both...features Evo wins no doubt but it's frustrating for heavy users cuz of the short battery life, on the other hand with heavy usage I can still get 40% left...on RUclips if u exit the browser and come back u have to play the video again...On the iPhone the browser is more user friendly. I own both android and iOS I can say with confident iPhone its a power device.
for the skins...you dont like being able to see all seven screens at once? you like scrolling? If it's a tie the zoom out feature should give evo the edge...i mean if you like being efficient

jon its no use comparing phones on different carriers. Whichever one wins, its not like somebody is going to switch carrier to switch to that phone. You know what i mean?
Man I bought the Evo. I wish HTC wouldn't half-ass a lot of things when they're making phones. What I hate about HTC is that they throw together a phone and release it. They need flagship phones so they actually develop something better everytime.
i like the background on the EVO 4G and just wondering why do u have so much phones? lol do they send them to u do they belong to your friends (please reply and clarify this for me) and what phone do u actually have (your true phone). and they should make a car phone (they already havecars with "bluetooth" so its so close) actually that wouldnt work because u cant bring your car into places but it would actually because u can connect the phone to the car and the car is its charger
I decided to got with the EVO 4 g instead. The two major advantages are the front facing camera and 4g connection. Also the monthly rate plan is cheaper. None the less both are great devices and almost the same features. Go Android great job on two awesome devices.

The 54 extra pixels are there mostly to make the screen aspect ratio 16x9 to make the device more video friendly.

They are both really great phones. I have the Droid X and my cousin has the Evo. If I had Sprint, I'd more than likely get the Evo OR the Epic.

Unlike the EVO, the Droid has got personality. You have to love a big red, rotating eye in the background - and the Droid-themed ring-tones!
@pladyer :/ Well it all depends on your preference on things. Just watch 3-5 reviews on each and make a decision.

I am trading my Fascinate straight up with a Droid X. They are both good phones, so is the EVO.
Notice how the HTC doesn't have the notification bar when in the browser, and the Droid X "does". A possible explanation for the extra pixels.
