Would have told her she can now go and have as much fun as she wants. She a free agent. The proviso being that she can also now fund her new life. The lover gets the goodies, so he can pay for them, but not at the husband’s expense. That’s not even considering the emotion of the situation.

Changed locks on all doors; literally and randomly dumped her stuff - dresses & skirts & blouses and shoes and make-up - together, into boxes, sealed, unlabeled, and tossed into garage. Moved into next state. Established residency. Filed for divorce. Judge awarded himself custody of our (MY) daughter so if she wanted our child, she would have to appear in person in his courtroom (600+ miles from where she, the mother, lived). I was awarded child support which she never paid. Daughter met alone with judge who approved her choice to return to mother for high school years; mother asked for child support. I replied that when the monthly child support she paid balanced, I would begin making payments. She admitted she had paid nothing. I responded that since I was able to support our child and myself, I was confident that she equally could do the same.
Why would your wife go on a date with someone else. She should’ve broke up with you before the date.

He did what I would do. If she is bold enough to announce she's going on a date OUTSIDE their marriage, YOU obviously don't figure into her plans any more. I'd change the locks, call my lawyer, and draw up divorce papers. She's no longer worth your time or trouble.
