Also, This game walked so that DOOM reboot could run.
I genuinely believe this game is the real inspiration behind what Doom 2016 became. I do think Doom 2016 is an objectively better game but I don't think it would exist without Shadow Warrior 2013 . The modern day version of Duke 3D leading to Shadow Warrior 1997 and Blood.

This is one of the most underrated shooters out there. In my opinion, it’s the best of the three reboots by far. Perfect tone, immensely satisfying combat, cool upgrades, cute secrets, vulgar as shit and ball-bustingly hard- it nails Shadow Warrior.
And it came out 9 years ago when the last of us was also released.
That game is okay
As someone who went in with low expectations I was pleasantly spirited on how decent it was.
While it kinda fails as a reboot to the orginial game on its own it's fantastic for reworking the IP into modern gaming without that regen health and other military shooter nonsense.
100%ed the Sequel too

It starts slow,but oh man! When that game pick up the pace does It get awesome!It's pretty lenghty too,for a shooter.I must buy for any fans of old school fps that want a pretty good storyline overall with a silly protoganist.Gotta love the Katana dismemberment and gameplay too.Can't wait to sink my teeth into ''Shadow Warrior 2''!

The only reason I never knew this wasn't so good is because I was always in a hurry to get to gameplay. Game was just fantastic overall.

You know, the one where the game flings you into an arena against an absolute fuckton of monsters, like Hell overpopulated and Satan was like, "Hey, go beat the ever-breathing shit out of him."

@@TrueArgons you got to be kidding! Really?! Why on earth have they not met each other yet?! I imagine a game featuring both. You get the choice to choose either. Somewhere in the game you meet the other. Not knowing if the other is good or evil you engage in battle from confusion in the chaos with the enemy, during the fight you both realise you both are better off teaming up to face the common enemy. Cooperative mode is an option from here. Sword and Lead, you both agree to eradicate the earth's threat and beyond this world, aliens and demons at once. Able to travel through to other dimensions together or alone. Alien or demon they are as good as dead.

Vraiment!Je trouve ca génial de comparer les deux,en les jouant.Définitivement des produits de leur époques respectives,mais dans le bon sens.Un peu Comme ''Doom'' originale et ''Doom''2016 (Y). Manque juste le retour de licence comme ''Turok'',''Blood'', et un bon ''Duke Nukem'' et on va avoir atteint le nirvana des fps xD.
