Shatto Milk Co. - Startups: Made in Kansas City

Ten years ago the Shatto family changed their 50-year old dairy farm business model and began processing and bottling their own milk. In the beginning, their eco-friendly glass bottles were delivered to just under ten stores. Now, they're in grocery stores across the metro.

I remember the milkman delivering our milk ,Milkman that used to come and deliver six bottles of milk when I was a kid I loved the milk in the bottles great idea going back in time that's what we need to do things way back then work better than they do today maybe it wouldn't have the problems that we have today if they wouldn't change after things had yesterday good idea back in time things that shouldn't have changed keep up the good work🐄🍶❤🥉🤗👍

They are. Orange Dream is my favorite but I’ve tried every flavor Shatto makes and they’re all fantastic. They get it right on their flavors every time. I don’t know how they do it.

I live in Winnipeg, Canada.
I never had the option of buying milk in a glass bottle. It would be nice to buy like that because I feel it keeps the milk more fresh tasting.

MY EXPERIENCE [ MILK GLASS& BOTTLES] Canada. / My grandparents had a small dairy farm when i was a boy . My grandmother used to perch me up on a stool and get me to turn the handle on the separator. Milk came out of one spout and cream from the other spout.during this process, She would bottle some for us in the glass bottles. She would put them in a bucket tighed to a rope and lower it way down into the outside spring fed well . That milk was so cold and delicious that they had to stop me from drinking too much. Later when i grew up i was a milkman for a few years. I now have a real vintage milk carrier rack on our deck with vintage glass milk bottles in it. Every time i look at those bottles i swear that i can still taste that milk even after all these years. I am now 73 .

Thats where I get my milk from is a Cosentinos Price Choppe. Their flavored milk, or at least the ones Ive tried, actually do taste like what they put in.
