Amazing to see these birds still flying. My dad used to fly these in the 1960s and 1970s in SAC Strategic Air Command. He flew the B-47 before these. Thanks for sharing!
According to the military these have been modernized even further and will probably end up flying for 100 years total. Absolutely amazing what technology over time can accomplish.
The B-52 Stratofortress is a Really old Aeroplane! But these Aircraft will be staying in Service for Many more Years. They comes from Barksdale Airbase in Lousiana. At RAF Fairford do the B-52 Stratofortress Operations together with the B-1 B Lancer and also the B-2 Spirit during Crisis in the Middle East. Greetings from Germany!
