power to weight or power to torque ratio is phenomenal. I did a test drive when they came out and I liked the diesel much more than the 1.2 16v. Secretly dreaming of an Initiale Paris version with Diesel and sunroof. Loved that new (now old) Twingo. Took me a while, I had the original one with 16v engine (basically the Mk 2?) and had a blast in it for 2 years.
Its my car for delivery, i hate Diesel cars, but this its little bit funny really, but TOOO SLOW, the engine its a rock, i go hard with him and still alive, the last time i ride the Twingo i make a 7L/100km for goin savage mode 😂😂😂😂
I feel like Renault Twingo has lost value, Twingo was supposed to be a '' cheap car '' that made it's identity, the left mirror was the right mirror reversed, the antenna was on the mirror to put less cable through the car, the engine was a 40 something yo engine.. But the newer twingo doesn't have that, they have full electronics, they have top of the line safety, if you look in the video you cannot see the body of the car on the door.. The newer twingo are just full of electronics, full of safety, full of plastic, it lost just the basic thing that made a twingo, a twingo.. a car that look cheap but in fact is a gold mine. The Twingo 2 is just a renault modus...

Manufacturers now have more limitations and laws to comply with, which makes cars bigger, heavier and cost more money. safety is mandatory, the twingo 1 was known for being small on the outside and big on the inside, the twingo 2 is a great car that fulfills that function, the rear seats fold completely leaving a large space behind. And the atmospheric 1.6 sport model is a delight. Twingo 3 is trash.
The Indian subsidiary has a car with a similar philosophy, but more spacious - the Triber. Unfortunately, it is not sold in Europe, probably because of the safety standards.
