    Been looking for a simple blanket stitch that makes it’s own border. This one is definitely a winner and my next project! Thank you for all that you share.

    What a brilliant and beautiful blanket!! Love the scalloped edges that don’t need a border. This is a real winner, Alison! Thanks very much; can’t wait to make this. ❤

    Love it! I do a version with one US double, ch1, US single, skip 2. But that one doesn't do its own border. I like your version that makes its own. Thanks for sharing!

    Another great pattern:) However, I would ask that you use a larger size yarn (4 or 5) for demonstration. It was difficult to see your stitchwork on the thinner yarn. Will try this for a scarf first and then a baby blanket. Thank you😊.

    Such a great idea! I have gone back and added to the beginning edge of some baby blankets. This flip might work with some of those stitches as well, as long as my chain is loose to start with.
    But I will use this pattern f or a gift for my neighbor's baby boy for Christmas...or slightly after.

    I recently made a white blanket for a grandson due very soon in May. The border was extremely difficult and time consuming as it came out wonky and needed to be ripped out and redone.
    A granddaughter (grandchild 29) is due in June and this will be her little Baptism blanket…yay no border!
    I made your baby outfit back in 2020! You are a very good crochet teacher amd I thank you for this pattern!

So busy right now cuz of holiday business but this is an upcoming project for sure. Thank you, Merry Christmas

    This's such a pretty yet simple pattern 😍. I made a long scarf/shawl type wrap for a niece years ago, with a very similar pattern but reversed😂-I started with a SC(US term)& then did the chain 2, 2 DC. She loved how it turned out 😊. N I forgot to mention that there are patch pockets on each end

    Love this pattern as I am looking for baby blanket patterns but in your video hook doesn't look like a 5 hook, but as you said depends on what the label on the yarn says.

    Love love love it. To change colors do you do it before the chain 3 at end of row?

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  8 месяцев назад

      i used a color change yarn, if you want to change solid colors or any color do it on the last stitch of the row add your new color THEN do your chain 3 with the new color.
