I have never used garlic paste. Do you have some recipes.

Garlic paste can be used the same way you'd use regular garlic. One teaspoon or garlic paste = 1 clove.

I have never seen garlic in a bag. Is it frozen?

No, it was fresh and already peeled! I found that big bag at Sam's Club, although Costco also sells it. Most grocery stores sell them peeled as well in smaller packages, in the produce section by the herbs.
