@mattaddison19 It is stated that soviet union has created a hidden bunker in the moscow metro system which is full of supplements. I believe they, metro people, found it or managers are regularly taking their cut in order to stay alive.
@mattaddison19 It is, also, stated that Russia plays dead and blocks all radio chatter that comes and goes. Which means supply management could be sent by the government.
The ambience of this level makes it haunting enough to be wary. Crossing a radioactive ghost town with no company, other than hostile mutants running amok, both on land and on ground. Nowhere is safe, no matter where you go.

Shit man, I've been looking for this for ages, thanks for putting this up! I love the whole atmosphere of these games, the feeling above ground that everyone kind of just up and... left, I guess. The overwhelming feeling of abandonment, rather than just simple emptiness.
@@Edude117 early fallout does, modern fallout does too but it's way too hopeful for the apocalypse but thats the direction Bethesda wants to go and I quite like it. I like both.
Metro 2033 by far has the most immersive apocalypse in gaming, the later ones are great but I find they kinda lost a bit of the impact the first one had as they dragged on. Metro is one of the few series I consider to be nearly perfect, they all have flaws, especially the latter two, but the consistency of the quality and the immersion is actually quite amazing. I wish more time was spent in Moscow in Exodus.
i wouldnt say 2033 was the best. The initial release was the sharpest of the series, which really made you feel like you are just another human about to die in the metro at any second. While the redux of 2033/34 didnt capture this feeling nearly as well, Exodus' last city did an amazing job with it. It had that imminent feeling of death hanging over it. I think we can all agree that Exodus is the best in the series by simple development facts alone. But 2033 does have the best metro vibes, sometimes done better or worse in last light.

You must have all the filters the metro has to offer to record this for 30 minutes XD
Its probably recorded on noclip xD

its a looped clip just with different sounds (you can tell by the birds and moving things going the same path over and over)
