What a beautiful little gorge you explored. Dude All kinds of industrial Mills or dams? Just a neat little Rippa of Rafting/ Exploration spot. Glad you shared it with us My Dude 🤘 Keep On Keeping On Brother

That's amazing. When we ran it years ago it was about 1700 cfs. It looks like a completely different river at this level!

Great review Tim. Looks pretty incredible. Your demos of eddy peel in and out sold me. And watching that bow pop over every pile? Delicious. The man in the parking lot at the end was impressed you’d paddled “the gorge”.

Once again, Timmy, as well as a gnarly Gnarvana whitewater ride, I tuned in for your one-wheel adventure. This time it wasn't just traffic whizzing by, but Snakes too 😯 Thanks for a very detailed review of the kayak on this river run. Very well done keeping your paddle high enough to not hit the sides.

I have a two person ww canoe set up w float bags if you want to do some cool stuff. I love your style bro.

They have the Superman swing at the top next to the bridge. Swings you out over the gorge and river below. Very cool to see it from the bottom looking up.

The rapid after the white caretakers house is called Sunshine Falls. At 400 cfs, 3 lines go: left shoulder, middle boof, and right sneak. And, after Sunshine is the rapid Grateful Dead. The Narrows where you saw the suspension bridge is a no swim zone due to rebar, metal bars and other nasties along the bank river left, as well as undercuts river right. I found one undercut a few months ago. Glad you got on and enjoyed the Gnarvana. My son and I are huge fans of JK boats.

I’ve been on that bridge. There’s a pretty funny sign up there that says “no fishing”. It’s a tourist area but it’s beautiful place. Never seen it from the river. Thanks for sharing Timmy!

Thanks for the review, I just got a Gnarvana in the same color and am glad to know it handles well even on low water. I'm just starting out and still limiting myself to class 2-3 in low flows since I paddle alone. Rare to find other ww paddlers here in the Philippines, but lots of rivers (that never get cold) where I live.

That is a beautiful run Timmy , thanks for the cool video. I walked across the bridge a few years back, that thing is almost 1000 feet above the water, I wanted to fat tire bike ride through the canyon along the river but they don’t let you, I might have to kayak that someday 😎🤟

I always enjoy your videos.. also, we have identical Gnarvana’s!! Quick question.. where did you get your beautiful wooden paddle? I tried a friends RivrStyx by Jim Snyder this weekend & really enjoyed it. I hear Snyder is no longer taking orders though. Anyway, keep on trucking and letting us ride along!!

It has been two decades since I ran the Royal Gorge of the Arkansas, and it was q bit higher back then, so I only recognised a few spots on the river, but I do remember that it is also a nice run at higher levels.
Since you came from an Eskimo Salto (what model of Salto do you have? They made three and I own(ed) the first two models.), how well would you say the Gnarvana comes up after drops? That's one of the things I like the most about the Salto for steep creeking. I am also very curious to hear what you think of the Jackson plastic compared to Eskimo plastic.

Hey Timmie Great Video...curious the size ie Large or Medium ( they have both in a town 1hr away from me) I am 6'4 225lbs.....before I purchase thought I would check with you!!!

    • @halieorr22
      @halieorr22 2 года назад

I believe he mentioned that it was 91 gallon, so that would be the medium size. I’m thinking the large would be perfect for you. It’s a great boat! I am loving my gnarvana medium.

I wish we could meet, w are a lot alike.
    I drive a 94 F350 crew cab long bed 4wd but with a 460 gas.
Do you have an email you can share?
Been to Alaska multiple times and would love to be able to drive there but Canada has some really tough demands.
