I knew ancient aliens were real in fallout 4. All my family, friends and girlfriend thought i was crazy, mainly because they didn't know what Fallout 4 was.
@@Nikulas228 John Romero has confirmed it. It was only ever implied in Wolfenstein RPG (which you can still play if you can find a proper emulator for mobile games), but Romero did canonize it himself That said, he is a notorious joker, so it could have just been an off the cuff joke.
The king one gets even strange when you consider that King's backstory is based off a genuine priest who was a pro wrestler. He used his earnings from wrestling to fund an orphanage.
The Pokémon Marriage fact was only in the Japanese version of the Gen 4 Sinnoh games! Other versions change it to Pokemon eating with their trainers at the same table. And some Pokemon that have been seen as attractive are Pokemon based off of mythological creatures, like Froslass, who in Legends Arceus, is protecting a notebook left by someone that fell in love with Froslass. What is Froslass based off of? The Yuki-Onna, a Yokai that is the spirit of a woman that died on a cold mountain. Sounds familiar to Froslass right? Well, the better fact is that there are some Pokemon that are indeed the spirits of humans. Froslass is an example, but there is also Unovan Yamask and Phantump. In Unovan Yamask’s Pokédex entries, it states that the mask on the end of Unovan Yamask’s tail was its face as a human, and it cries when it looks at that mask. And Phantump is the spirit of a child that got lost in the forest.
Putting a clip of live action Sonic on the "Sonic doesn't wear socks" section was incorrect, because in the live action canon Sonic does wear socks. They show that the white folded cloth are indeed socks when he takes the old torn shoes to replace them with the red ones, just seconds before the clip you showed XD
Destiny 2: Player behavior is canon and primary motivator for the plot. So it kinda started off as a joke in some not so serious little events that characters In-universe aknowledge that Guardians love to dance and have a tendency to jump off the tower to their death for fun just as players like to do but it evolved over time to not just be some silly jokes and quirky things people do in game. Eventually the insentive for loot as rewards for a job or the chase of loot itself got referenced by various characters like Wilhelm-7 in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. The chase for loot, " god rolls" and so on drove him and his friends into madness when they entered the infamous loot cave ( which in and off itself is a funny bug turned canon) and it went so far that several antagonists throughout the story have commented on loot and glory being the primary force that drives your character into action. Even The Witness , that cosmic eldritch being tries to persuade the cast during The Final Shape campaign to join its cause by promising some to bring beloved dead family back to life, grant a kingdom to rule for someone shunned and shamed away from said kingdom and for you a treasure trove of loot. According to the eldritch being, you are beyond comprehension too so the best it can give you is loot.
The homage for the luchador was for a real priest who did that, ie the movie with Jack Black is an homage as well. Sergio Gutiérrez Benítez was the guys name.
5:11 This would mean that King is a homage to Fray Tormenta, who is a real Catholic priest AND professional wrestler, now retired. He really started wrestling to fund an orphanage.
The King she is referring to as an alcoholic is the first King. He dies after Tekken 2 when Ogre kills him. From Tekken 3 on, the King we see is a kid that grew up in the orphanage that the King funded.
Ghastly, Slowking, Mewtwo, Meowth, Lapras, and a few others have had ways to communicate with humans in Pokemon. So the language barrier has been broken multiple times.... So its not that surprising if they could marry pokemon. There's even the joke that Mr. Mime is Ash's dad (or stepdad).
I knew about the aliens in Fallout, but didn't consider them to be like the engineers in the Alien series and "responsible for life". Didn't see that tidbit coming.
Dear diary Another day has passed... but still, I hope for Jess and Jules to feature on a video, seeing they are the only ones worth watching when it comes to WC... They could call it the J&J list.. Regards
I feel like you can't say SSKtJL belongs on this list. Yeah it happened in the Arkham universe but it's only one potential timeline for what happened after those games. There are countless versions where Bats died DURING the Arkham games and plenty where afterwards he lived happily ever after and yet more where he never lived at all.
Gouken Was Ken and Ryu's Teacher Street Fighter series who became playable In Super Street Fighter 4 and appeared In the live action Web Series Street Fighter Assassin's Fist In 2014
You know, that puts that "dating game" in Sonic Dreams into a new perspective and why Eggman slipped in "taking off Sonic's shoes" when he's helping you try to rizz up Sonic.
Batman also went through a whole game deciding if Batman is enough to protect Gotham, then deciding it needs something worse, I really loved the ending to Arkham Knight a they changed it back to normal offscreen. I have no idea what were the writers thinking.
Alright, hear me out...Skyrim....2077. 😅 Or 1881. Change it into steampunk. Familiar places, "modern" twist. Daedric gods messing with an industrialised world. Like Elder Scrolls and Fallout has a baby. 😅
King sticks out like a sore thumb on this list on account of just how NORMAL he is compared to some of the revelations, especially since his canon was pretty well established from the get go, IIRC.
Pretty sure there is no character named the harbinger of Doom in Wolfenstein the original game... But there is one in Wolfenstein RPG which was released years and years after.
The pokemon one is weird until you realize that half of them are based on japanese mythology and folklore, 2 it was made during the 90s where they were still considered "monsters". So is it any real surprise? You dont see people question where the dragonballs came from do you?
Another weird Sonic one is the fact that Blaze, _the pyrokinetic princess from an alternate dimension,_ is actually embarrassed of her small breast size.
Except Tekken 2 came out in '96, while Nacho Libre came out 10 years later - Nacho is a parody of King. And the troupe itself is based on a real life luchador, Fray Tormenta.
So the god Of War thing is interesting because I seen a video of a guy explain the Timeline split of God of War and 2 Kratos could exist in the same time line so the Shovel knight canon could work if the split sent one on a different path
Did they miss the update that explained it was in fact NOT arkham justice league we killed. It was alternate universe because the story continued after in the dlc
the Archie comics were never Canon to the main sonic continuity that is like trying to use star wars legend content in a lore video it is quite clearly not canon especially now
Few faleshoods here; chim is a fan theory in TES and has never been made canon. Also the Cabot artifact isn't from the aliens, but from an ancient civilization that worshipped Lovecraftian horrors, specifically Yol'Quolthoth.
most of these dont count. you seem to confuse canon with continuity. the former just means official. so anything nont fan made is canon. the latter refers to a chonology of events outlining said canon. so all continuities are canon but each canon has its own continuity. ones word, even as a creator, means nothing. it needs to explicityl be stated or shown in official works to count. so kratos appearing in the ps version of shovel knight is caonical to the ps version while non canonical to others. in ragnarok, kratos outright talks about his time in ps allstars confirming that is canon. in no official works is there any mention of battletoads so that dpesn't count. neither does the doom/wolfenstrein connection

So the weirdest weapon Kratos has ever lost to... is a shovel? Maybe that humbled him enough to let go of his rage between Greece and Scandinavia
Speaking as a Mexican, king being an alcoholic and Catholic, isn't weird. Just means he might be an uncle
Banger comment 😂😂😂
Doomguy is the DESCENDENT of BJ. BJ's GRANDSON is Commander Keen. Doomguy's a few more generations down.
Just a side note that was only in the mobile games that are no longer playable and as far as i know they were never canonized. I could be wrong.

I mean, just look at the face in both. It's literally the exact same face, just with a slightly different hair color.

About sonic. I remember being so disappointed as a kid when they revealed it was his shoes that made him fast. He wasn't just super fast on his own
