2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 tbsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. minced ginger
1 large red onion, sliced
½ tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. turmeric powder
120g crab paste
280g coconut milk
2 tbsp. white sugar
1 tbsp. fish sauce
salt and pepper

Thank u sa Alavar sauce. Ang tagal ko hinanap yan. We used to eat at the House of Alavar sa West Ave years ago. First time i tasted it. Pero nawala na ang resto sa West ave. Kya hinabol ko yan sa Zamboanga n bought so many sauce noon. Now i will try ur recipe this 2023. Salamat RV.

It's really good but I find it too sweet for my taste buds. I'm also cooking my own version with only a very slight hint of sweetness. I prefer fresh coconut milk.

Ginagaya ko din ang alavar sauce twing martes santo hahaha, grabe kc ang sarap ng matikman ko ang malalaking sugpo at alavar sauce, noong 2008 nagpadala ang friend ng bro inlaw ko from paticol. D q magaya! Lagi ang ending ay seafoods curry lasa. Hahaha

Favorite ko ang alavar sauce thank u chef medjo mahal na kasi ung orig eh kulang sha pag madami kang lulutuin.
Naku i miss Alavar Restaurant napaka sarap talaga nyan.
They used to have a branch in Timog sadly nagsara. But I used to order their sauce na lang. Nakakamiss. Idk where to order their sauce na.🤷🏻♀️
