I think he worded it wrong but he never said the guy deserved it. What he was implying is that Favara should have known better, you’ve killed a gangster’s kid. Get rid of the car out of respect for the family, stop driving by in the same car. Despite being warned he kept doing it and not implying he did it purposely or intended to cause harm, but it was missing a sensitivity chip. Nobody was a winner in this tragic case

If you get him back on, ask exactly how John Favara was taunting Mrs Gotti. It sounds like he is saying that Favara was taunting her by not moving out of his own neighbourhood, and by driving down his own street. If he lived next door, then driving past isn’t “taunting”, it’s just driving. You might argue it was thoughtless and he should have moved, but it’s not intentionally taunting her. Killing him is definitely murdering an innocent civilian.
