    Well you definitely sold me on this knife. My favorite actual user edc knife ever is the broken skull and #2 is the endura. I'm a lock back guy too and it's s90v for $93 U.S., thin behind the edge ffg, deep carry clip, nested liners.... I think I'm in love.

    Love the design and the choices in steel. D2 and s90v. and the price for both is exceptional. though most people wont pay $80 usd for D2 knives, i think its perfectly fine. They are sold out on the manly usa website of many options. so that kinda sucks. ive got to wait to get one anyways. Thanks for the great review on this.

    I am really glad about this knife..i was thinking to get the Spyderco Baby Jess Horn at a very similar design and VG10 steel, and i find that can get the Peak for 45 euros here in EU. I would expect better ergonomics and better fit & finish from the Spydie but for 100 more i much prefer this one (i prefer the D2 as well so thank you Peter for introducing this knife)

    Nice looking knife. I'd go for the Cold Steel Broken Skull. For me, CTS XHP, better ergos, and the price here in Oz made the Cold Steel a better buy. And I wanted to stock up on XHP before it is phased out.
    Manly are made in Europe I think.

      Manly is a Bulgarian company. Böker has distributed their knives in the past, but they are their own independent manufacturer.

    I’ve got the Patriot, the Drouger, 2 Comrades in different steels & colors, & 2 peaks in different steels. I don’t want to recommend them, because it’s hard enough to order one, before they are out of stock, with out me making them more popular! I have my Spiderco Knives, but these are great 👍🏻,also, & affordable. I ordered mine by the 2’s & 3’s, after I found out how fast they fly off the shelves.💕❤️👍🏻

    Ive seen this knive on the forums before so i looked up the specs and this guy is laser thin behind the edge at only .010"! I love the endura and this looks like a supped up version. Just ordered me one! $56 US shipped is a steal!

    Great video, again! Great knife too. Some fit and finish imperfections, but, overall, it puts a nice blade of S90V in my hands for $120CAD, and that is a freakin' beautiful thing.

    Nice knife but it has “Manly” written on the blade, mid lock and pocket clip (don’t like that). I like the long thin blade and a hole rather than a stud for opening. Also thin profile. But it would look better as a two handed slip joint without the blade hump or hole. It’s a simple design. Liked your review. ⚔️

      Gerardo Pietrantoni Manly actually has a knife called COMRADE in their line-up which is exactly what you described (no hole, slip joint...). :)

    It's a nice looking knife, its big competition for the Endura 4, Obviously, Id rather have D2 for $50, then VG10 for $70 allday . Is there any copyright laws in Bulgaria ? I don't know , but I think Spyderco might have something to say about that "hole" design , ha , ha ....

    • @Kevinclearysharpstuff
      @Kevinclearysharpstuff  6 лет назад +2

      Brian Follett yeah it has a bit of a spyderco look but Spyderco can't do anything they went to court a while back and it was ruled that you can't patent a hole so anyone can use it and yeah I'm a fan of the value especially in s90v

    Screws on this is shit, material used is too soft one of them is already smoothened on mine. Also suuuper stiff like unnecessary stiff and the backlock jimping is machined VERY BAD so they dig in your thumb I had to fix both with a metal file. But the main problem is the screws they come out and drop after 15 minutes of using the blade or opening and closing repeatedly for 5 minutes I used hair spray to fix the problem and it didn't fix it %100.

    It'd be nice to see a direct comparison between the S90v version of this knife and the ZDP189 Endura. The little devil on my shoulder tells me that your enthusiasm is, in part at least, driven by your (admirable) patriotism. Lol....God Bless...:) :)

    This knife is garbage! I bought orange g10 d2 peak. What a disaster! The knife is poorly built, the quality is very low. I disassembled the damn thing to try to clean it, polish some parts and fit it better.. Mission Impossible!!! The nester liners are from some kind of cheese.. they bend so easy.. the interior of the knife so dirty, the washers were black with something like baked dirt and old oil.. it was abrasive and the knife didn’t fold and open well. After cleaning and reassembly the knife was just just cleaner, the same piece of junk... It opens hard with one hand, poorly designed (copied) system. The spidyhole is so rough that it actually hurts your thumbs... i need to say, i like the design on pictures, surprisingly the G10 handles are very well made and i can’t explain how everything other on this crap is poorly made?!!?!!!
