- This is a mint condition 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Premier. This is actually my old car that I had for about a year and a half! This one comes in iridescent pearl tricoat on dark atmosphere/loft brown perforated leather interior. The powertrain consists of a 2 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and Apple Carplay. Options include an oversized sunroof, Driver Confidence Package, and navigation system.

Great review .Chevy Malibu Premier is a very well made vehicle. Solid, no wind noise ,good on gas ,lots of leg room front and back. And for what it costs its a bargain . The 2.0 Turbo with the 8 speed and later year's have the 9 speed what a quick car . Light to light and hwy passing is a breeze and incredible power coming from such s small powerplant.
What road noise ? How is that?
@@uos64 the car is very quiet no wind noise . 90% of my drive is hwy everyday. The Malibu Premier is a pleasure to drive and it has plenty of passing power
@@danielcoroado3063 ty for the response. Have you driven 2018+ accords? How do these compare to the accord ? I have a 2018 Accord 2.0T but the ride quality is very poor , full of vibration

I have an 18 premiere with the 9 speed. It goes! I only average 26 MPG but im heavy on the throttle.
That's about what I was getting with mine and I had the same issue, lol!
I have the 2018 Accord 2.0 T. Its a little rocket and interior quality is great BUT NVH is high , especially vibrations that plaques pretty much all hondas. And the seats are hard as a rock!

Yes it’s been a great car I have a premier and I get complements you don’t see a lot of 2016 premiers it’s been a great car with no issues

I've had my '16 Premier for almost 2 years now and it's treated me well. The only thing I've had to replace was the shifter at 65k.
@@derekam98 I have an 18 premiere and I just hit 65k and had my shifter replaced 🙃 have you had any squeak in the suspension at low speeds.??
@@spacecadet6985 I just hit 73k on my 16 Premier.. I had my shifter replaced at 65k.. I only hear squeaking when I first pull my car out of my garage in the morning for like 5 rotations of the tires and then it goes away. Every time I put my car in either drive or reverse and accelerate there is a clunking noise.. like something is loose in the suspension.. I had the dead look at it and they said “we were unable to replicate the problem you are describing”. There is also a rattle I always hear while driving either coming from the dash on the passenger side for the passenger side front door.. I’ll be trading it in in 2 years so I’m not worried about fixing any of that 😐
@@derekam98 Holy crap that was my same experience. When it was cold it woukd squeak like crazy. And the dealer because its still under an extended warranty said they could not find any squeak. So on a cold morning I recorded a video. Its on my profile. And they ended up replacing a 16 dollar bushing and 6.5 hours of labor because they had to remove the subframe to gain access. Been quiet ever since. I can find the receipt with the exact part if your interested.

They are perfect, and not too fast. Ride quality is great.
Very very nice what Tesla did you get? I do love the Malibu they are so refined even the 2013 models were really quite inside. Chevy knows a thing or two about cabin damping.

The older ones (still new) of this generation sound better with a non Cvt transmission.

@@NothinButCarReviews The premieres don't come with CVT transmission. They come 8-speed and 9 speed depending on year

Only take premium? How does it do on 87 octane? Or 91?
91-93 gets you more horsepower, but I always put 87 from Shell, BP, or Exxon in mine and performance was great for me.
