    Y’all blaming her for her dress? BUT IF A MAN, goes around shirtless it is not a problem. IF A MAN, wears trousers or adjusts his vetti in public it is also not a problem. You guys perform well in double standards! Either way, we should aim for safety of both the genders! You guys are only telling women to cover up, but what about men? I am watching hauterrfly interview and then 2 am interviews from 6 months but this one is really bad. We can see that you were doing all this to get better reactions (not about your clothes it's your choice do whatever) but smoking reallllllllyyyyy? You are portraying it very bad do you think a normal girl will go at night and rome just to smoke and see reactions and judgements of boys even a normal boy would thing 100 times to go and night just to smoke. Just Imagine if a boy goes and smokes or drinks in front of you then you'll cover it up as I am feeling insecure uncomfortable reallllyyyy you are doing same you are smoking we boys also get insecurities

      @sdrl28 Месяц назад

      @@shlokdubey9546 That is still double standards. Like smoking is a bad thing, majorly men do it. It is ofc their choice. Men also do criticize women. This video is literally concerned with that. She is portraying how men treat women. She has got securities, here too. This just shows the cheap behaviour of men toward women. So like you said "normal boy" they are soo rare. These things are done by those boys who aren't raised properly, don't care about their health, etc. Whether it is men or women if someone smokes in front of me, I would definitely feel uncomfortable to the hell. "How can you feel uncomfortable only in the case of a girl?" Like, "cover up" lol. Like yall forgetting men and women both got the same bodies, diff reproductive parts. I saw a pervert men showing of his p*n*s to a Korean girl, 80 yo grandma (since you were talking abt clothes), 3yo girl, Kolkata doctor. What dress where they wearing? Just imagine those, this is just not about clothes. REMEMBER "EVEN A GIRL" CAN GO OUT AND DO WHATEVER SHE WANTS.SHE MAY NOT BE EXPECTING JUDGEMENTS THAT ALSO COMES FROM THE MEN ITSELF!
      APPLIES FOR SOME GIRLS TOO! BUT THIS VIDEO IS JUST CONCERNED OVER SHOWING US THE ATTITUDE OF MEN TOWARDS WOMEN, SO IM SAYING SO!

One more thing bro in today's world men women both are not safe in India there are soo many cases in which men got raped , So bro we as a humans our own security guard. If I go at night thinking let's see guys I feel safe or not and (as she did where men were standing) I goes to a place like family restaurants and then I started drinking smokimg too much just to see If I feel safe or not. Then I will blame those who think as a men I cannot smoke or drink. Just think it doesn't mean everything everytime someone is always right I also mentioned that I was watching hauterrfly from past 6 months I also watch 2 am stories in which she covers many cities. It happened with me in Hyderabad almost 10 years back at a residential area where I went for a Christmas prayer meeting and was returning back on my scooty alone at around 1AM, and one boy started racing with me and was matching my speed or slowing when I slowed . And it was such a shocker that he almost rode beside my bike and groped me, and I lost my balance with shock and fell down.. and I immediately started my bike and went hunting that man, I felt like catching him.. but he was no where traced.. it felt like this guy was waiting on the roads for a female to do this.. and it was a residential area.. I kept going on that road and lane from where that bike started following me for many years after this incident just so I could slap him one tight... but sadly I never could do that and it was a very traumatic experience out of my many experiences..

    14:06 Little clarification about "Bangalore likes to party" but who exactly? Bengaluru has become a arrangement for White collar IT workforce from around the country along with the 2 AM drinking culture that it brings, locals here accommodate such endeavors but do not actively participate in it. Naturally Bengaluru is a town that goes to sleep around 10 PM like the rest of the country. Comparisons to Mumbai is invalid in this regard.

    I see multiple comments asking her to wear dresses that cover up more or not roam around at 2 am alone. Are y’all stupid? Sense nahi hai? First of all, she shouldn’t change, logo ki nazar badalni chahiye, what shes wearing is perfectly fine and if y’all can romanticise foreign culture, singling out western clothing on women is just arrogant and stupid. And the whole point of this is to test the safety of Bangalore’s streets for ALL women and check out the worst case scenario. What if there’s a girl who can’t catch a ride home after a party because their ride left and only gets a ride back, late at night? Tab bhi uski galti hai? And the girls in this comment section blaming her? As a girl, you should support her and give assertion to the notion that a woman’s clothing needs to be her own and it’s people’s minds that need a change. Basic decency ki baat hai. Aur konse facts bol rahe ho tum log? Feminism ki baat nahi, insaniyat aur izzat ki baat hai. Agar ek ladka bina pant ke ghumega, ladkiyan taaregi nahi. Toh how difficult can it be to expect basic respect and decency from people around you? She’s showing cleavage to feel confident? Theek hai, tere liye nahi hai, bhav mat kha aur taar mat. Simple funda hai, both men and women should follow it out of mutual respect for eachother to promote national safety.

    I moved to Bengaluru some eight months back and I have never felt unsafe so far. Walking on a street at 2 am and expecting to feel safe all the time is a little too much.
    Firstly, if you have been in Mumbai for a long time and are used to how things work there, you can't compare it with any other place and claim that the other place is not as safe. Mumbai never sleeps! Other cities do!
    Secondly, one feels the safest in their own city! You will never feel as safe anywhere else in the world. There are many factors such as language, people's attitude, people's upbringing, one knowing their way around in their own city, etc.
    Thirdly, this video is a good example of pseudo-feminism. Why would you want to wear a dress like that and expect to feel safe everywhere all the time? We have to accept the fact that our country is still not as safe as we would want it to be. That said, in my adult life, I have so far not experienced anything bad if dressed appropriately. If you research about other big cities in the world, you will find more horrifying statistics.
    Also, "he is looking at me weirdly!" is a very very vague and subjective statement. Just because you are a woman, it does not entitle you to claim that someone's looking at you weirdly.
    I am not trying to discount the fact that I too wish for this country to be safer for every woman, who wants to roam around alone at 2 am wearing anything she wants. But every city and country has its own unwritten norms and boundaries that have to be followed if one wants to feel safe. If you roam around at 2 am in Mumbai wearing something even shorter than this, nobody will be bothered! But expecting that from all other cities is unfair.

      @Kshitija1985 8 месяцев назад +25

      I think we are completely missing the point here. I am not supporting the harassers nor am I supporting a dress code.
      But yes. If you want to walk on a road at 2 am in an unknown city, you would definitely want to wear appropriate clothes for your own safety.
      One more thing : people's reactions change depending on which part of the city you are in. For example in Pune, if you wear these clothes in Sadashiv Peth, people will stare at you. Not only men, but even women will stare. Cause they are simply not used to seeing this. But if you wear this dress in Koregaon Park, nobody will be bothered, cause it's a more cosmopolitan area and they are used to this.
      It's not about me supporting anything or anyone. But it seems this video has been made to see people's reactions to this dress at 2 am and not to check if the city is safe or not.

    I am female rider in Bangalore. I can vouch for the fact that people are aggressive towards women on road. When i dress in away that can't tell if I am man or woman, i don't get that agression. The more I look feminine while riding/driving more I get the aggression. I have been pphysically pushed off of the road many times, it is that agressive. But for woman going out in night, i personally feel the city has come a long way in the past few years. I do feel safe going out around 11 ot 12 in the night. Haven't experienced any incidents

Theres no point comparing India to countries like the US, where the situation is also bad. Why not try to be like Singapore and UAE, where laws are so stringent. Yes we have a huge population but we have to accept that improve our law enforcement.

    1. Let me remind you, god gave us hormones' that excite men and women, you can not deny that, so, looking at a pretty girl or handsome guy is normal, not talking about staring like creep in this point, talking with people and getting attracted is normal, if you have problem with that maybe there should be two planets, one for female and one for men, then no looking or staring.
    2. I absolutely love Bangalore's peaceful night life, American culture has destroyed the minds of youth, night is for sleep and day for working, hence I love peaceful night, maybe my personal choice but yeah, I love that very very much, unlike Mumbai which never sleeps as per social media.
    3. Be it night or day, safety for citizens is a basic right, men or women, Bangalore or Mumbai or Gurgaon or whatever, that is lacking for sure in many Indian cities, agree.
    4. Maybe you are doing this as a survey but there are girls, who take money for sex and roam around various parts in Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata etc. etc., maybe those guys thought you are also wanting that, that's why they were asking you, not forcing you, if they forced you then go to police, I have watched till 5:19 duration in the video till now.

Even if a man who is 6'2 walks about alone at night on a lonely street, there are chances he could get mugged or worse. As women our safety is in our hands, we decide where we go and at what time.
