Well done sir this has helped me in my trading. If anyone trades crossovers of EMA then the level of the cci will stop you getting whipped. Take the long crossover if cci is at plus 100 and only take the short crossover when cci is minus 100..improves your chances massively

It looks like a pretty decent indicator on a daily chart level so I thought I'd play with it a little at the 5-min level, and I'm seeing something that may have merit which I'd like to test further. What I was looking at was drawing a trend line over top (bottom) of the indicator peaks and then watching where it breaks to indicate potential day trade entries / exits (e.g. if the price movement and indicator movement is up, I'd draw the line starting at the most recent, previous red bottom and then carry forward just at the retrace bottoms after the green peaks until I see a downward break in the line (reverse this for down trend). Have you messed with this at all? Thanks again! Good stuff.

There are various approaches to wave counting, Elliott Wave Theory being the most popular. The theory is that the main trend of a market has 5 waves (3 impulse waves and 2 corrective waves). Perhaps I'll do a video on it as you suggested.

You can use CCI on any time interval. There are other issues that determine the time frame you'll want to trade depending on the size of your trading account, the average daily volume of the market you're trading, etc.

I recommend you use S/R levels using the time interval you use for identifying your trade setups, whatever that is for you.

Not as an alternative, they're quite different.
It means if its cross or reach +200 from above, you can take short then and vice versa for -200 for long.

Possibly you could when combined with other factors, but not by itself.
use cci value 20 and above for buy -20 below for selling on 3 min chart, you will mint money

That's one "piece of evidence," but there's a bit more to it than that for it to provide consistent reversal signals.
