As a mildly OCD person, the sticky fidgets and slime toys are a no-can-do. I'd be obsessing over all the bits of dust and junk they catch rather than finding them relaxing.
My daughter and I ordered your "not another crap box" and can not wait to get crafting!! We promise to share our little chonks of goodness with you when we're finished! You really are the best. We sincerely hope that you are recovering well.
This video made me so happy! I’m an adult with sensory regulation, and I use fidgets to stop self harm behaviors. I’ve only ever seen kids making these kinds of videos. I feel much more normal when I see other adults who use and enjoy fidgets. Thank you!
The best fidgets are ones that can be used both mindlessly and as a puzzle or activity. Use it mindlessly when you're in class or something and then complete the puzzle during a movie. The downside of that one is that it's not teeny so I can't put it in my tiny girl pockets and carry it around
Not me but my Dad never got diagnosed with ADHD, but he always suspected he had it, as with me. We could never give him anything that could easily tear, be it paper or the really flimsy coasters you get at restaurants, he would tear it up into perfect little squares then line them up as he talked. Sometimes my mom would catch him tearing up a list she handed him and it usually went like this. "Is that the shopping list you are tearing up?" *Dad stops mid-tear"..... ah.... um.... here" *hands it back*
This is such a great idea! I love it! 💙 Most of my other favorites not mentioned in this video, like thinking putty, wouldn't be great for sharing around with multiple people, but I *have* to recommend zipper bracelets - they are inexpensive and completely hit the spot for my nervous fidgets! They get even better with use, too.
some of the fidget toys you didn't like as much, are not geared so much as fidget as they are sensory or occupational therapy toys; hence why they didn't "fidget" as well and required more focus and attention. so yes, they did fail as fidget toys, but they are generally used for another purpose that is not just "mindless" fidget.
As someone with autism, adhd, and so many others I’ve been searching for some sensory toys to help me so if there’s anyone I trust for reviews it’s definitely Jackie
I think I may need a wheelchair or some sort of walking aid, my legs start to really hurt if I walk for 15 minutes (the amount of time to get to my school by foot) Key word: WALK
As a child I was always allowed to have a "doodling book" with me in class, because I could focus on the teacher way more while doodling random stuff into the book instead of just having to listen. The problem then was that other children often didn't understand and just thought I got privileges and didn't have to pay attention. A fidget toy would have been great then.
I'm playing my scales up and down, mostly on a pen/pencil pretending it was a flute or clarinet or with my fingers on a table or my thighs as if i would play a piano. It drove my teachers crazy. Since I do this for a long times, my scales are pretty decent now. 😉

The BB8 looking ball is called a puzzle ball. You are supposed to try and put the balls into the circle of the same color. And when you are done doing that, you can mix it up again. Also, the white circle is supposed to be empty.😄
I make paper stars (Asian style folded strips of paper) as my fidget. In middle school I would literally cut lined writing paper strip by strip, but in high school I started carrying around a tin of actual star paper and saving the stars. I have an infinity cube and a fidget cube (the one that looks like a remote, but in cube form). I use them to occupy my hands while I read a book (because otherwise I peel skin off my feet and fingers until I bleed). I like the fidget cube best because it has 6 different sides, so my hands don't get bored. :)
With the space ball, the aim is to get the balls into the right Color’s! Also can we just appreciate everything she does for us🥰And how much money she spends🥰❤️
The infinite cube for some reason reminds me of hexaflexagons, if anyone wants to then feel free to google em, they're these little diy hexagon things that you make out of paper that essentially flip themselves inside out, its really satisfying and you can customise it and everything
This has to be one of the most entertaining videos I’ve watched recently. A couple minutes in and I hit the subscribe. I have or have had a few of these, most recently was the infinity cube which is so relaxing. I have a light plastic one, but it has a galaxy color, I’m curious to order more that might have a different weight/sound. Can’t wait to watch more of your videos
The stretchy unicorn things are like what my son uses for deep sensory pressure, if you wrap them around your wrist it should push on your pressure points and give of a deep pressure feeing x
Hey Jackie! The blue and white twisty thing is sharp, yes. It’s called a Crazy snake and you can do anything with it you can just twist it anywhere but when the toes came of it stabbed me- It definitely hurt.
When I was a little grain I use to pop those little bubble on the drink lid in & out. Okay, who else here broke many many water slinkees? I have broke a million of those things as little grain. Luckily my AD has gotten better as an adult.
Also with the disposable cameras, we had no idea if the pictures we took were all blurry or out of focus until the photo place devolved them and we went to pick them up from the store.
The one with the two colored 'lavas' reminds me of a pencil sharpener I had years ago that was green with a blue liquid it that was also meant to mimic a lava lamp. I loved to shake it till the 'lava' was evenly dispersed over the whole sharpener and watch as it all slowly settled to the bottom.
I'm a fidgeter too. Pen clips were constantly victims of homicide by me. But my biggest fidgety problem is mutilating my cuticles. I pick at them and peel my cuticles until they bleed. Edit: I forgot to add that I also twist my hair and if I can't get a knot out, I rip it out. I do a lot of self damage, it seems....
Had that problem as well. I actually got the courage and got my nails done. Now I satisfy that urge by tapping them on hard surfaces. The sound is very satisfying for me!
That ball-twisty-blue-and-white thing was called a "snake" back in the 80's. They were huge in the states, up next to the Rubik's Cubes. You can make all kinds of patterns and little creatures with them. It shouldn't have sharp edges! It's also not the greatest fidget toy on this scale because it's not truly mindless.
I have a cube one and because there is only 1 way to get it back into the cube, it became a fidget toy for me. I basically ended up learning the pattern and now just stretch it out and put it back endlessly
@@bri8661 I did a lot of that when I was a kid, too. We'd get them loose and compete on how fast we could get it back in a ball. There was also a stairs pattern, a twist pattern, a cobra, and a "spoon" which was half the ball and a long "tail" part. I spent hours messing around with it when I was little - that and trying to solve a Rubik's cube. The most I ever got was 2 sides. If I wanted to bother I'm sure I could look up how to do it online now, but the 80's was internet prehistory. LOL
Also, those "Animal things" Are called "Mochi's" and YES the attract dust and dirt very easily.
I thought they are just called silicone squishi as there's a bunch of different ones. They also start to shred and rip easily over time.

I like the fidget cube best because it has 6 different sides, so my hands don't get bored. :)
Her reactions are priceless XD, Just seeing her face light up like that made my day! Keep smiling and stay safe!!!!!!!!
Ok Star Wars is not politics in space... it's politics AND magic in space.
Dont forget the family drama 😂
THANK YOU 👏👏👏👏👏
✨YES✨
Yup
Jackie: Oh it’s like an infinite cube!
Me: OMG GIRL ITS CALLED AN INFINITY CUBE YOUR A GENUIS!!
My “fidget toy” is flipping pens or shuffeling a deck of cards. I have decks that have never been played, and yet were destroyed from shuffling...
Do you get ink on your hands?
The "Space Ball" is actually a puzzle, you're supposed to match the color of the ball with the ring around the hole.
Jackie should make homemade fidjets like ooblek
This would be fun to watch!
With the space ball, the aim is to get the balls into the right Color’s! Also can we just appreciate everything she does for us🥰And how much money she spends🥰❤️
I have a frog plush that has beads at the bottom and I grab them. He's my buddy, I'm very protective of him too hehe
That's so sweet! I hope he protect you well too!
For the “space ball” your supposed to try and get the balls into the same coloured rings
I thought that was a (fanxin) rainbow ball. Not a space ball. nevermind, it’s both
The chicken actually is a slingshot but you don’t hold on to it’s tail
5:30 Jacki you are definitely helping me with deciding which fidget toy is my favorite
"It's just politics in space." Yeah, you're absolutely correct. I'm surprised you see that, most of the fandom doesn't, lmao.
The infinite cube for some reason reminds me of hexaflexagons, if anyone wants to then feel free to google em, they're these little diy hexagon things that you make out of paper that essentially flip themselves inside out, its really satisfying and you can customise it and everything
Yo that’s so cool, thanks for sharing!
You a vihart fan?
Any one else just love Jackie’s happy, entertained and distracted expressions and noises 😋
I laughed so hard when Jackie couldn’t use the chicken slingshot
Its actually a "puppet", use your thumb and first finger to make them dance
All she had to do was angle it like a rubber band slingshot!
@@cherylrowe1254 the one I bought is marketed as a slingshot
To sum up this video it is Jackie being easily distracted for 35+ minutes.
hey, i’m not complaining though😂✨
@@squeakerdoeseverything yeah. It is entertaining.
I LOVE the mesh with the marble inside. It is one of my absolute favorites. I keep one with me at all times, and use them during meetings.
Mine too but gets lost easily
same omg
would be great for me but the mesh messes with my sensory issues
Is called a marble mesh
I used to not like it but after a while I fell in love with them and I use them during class
"as someone with ADHD I was an unbearable child and a very awkward adult " that's relatable as frick🤣🤣🤣
Star Wars is politics in space, but with added space wizards. 😜
The stretchy unicorn things are like what my son uses for deep sensory pressure, if you wrap them around your wrist it should push on your pressure points and give of a deep pressure feeing x
I love Jackie's laugh, it's one of those laughs that make you happy
Pleeeeease how is Jackie's lava toy called?
I think its called water timer
The ball that you liked, the white one with colours, is called a puzzle ball
The infinity cube is my absolute favorite, don't get the full metal ones as they make your hands stink but the plastic ones I can play with for HOURS
“Are you a fidgeting person”
Me playing with my new pop it
.> nooo...
B r u h
You should get a tangle! It's like a forever loop that you can fidget with. It's my personal fave, and I feel like you'll like it.
9:13"This here will go IN THE TRASHHH"
I'm a fidgeter too. Pen clips were constantly victims of homicide by me. But my biggest fidgety problem is mutilating my cuticles. I pick at them and peel my cuticles until they bleed. Edit: I forgot to add that I also twist my hair and if I can't get a knot out, I rip it out. I do a lot of self damage, it seems....
Me too! I have a problem with eating my cuticles until it bleeds. (Like I should probably stop they look like a battlefield)
Had that problem as well. I actually got the courage and got my nails done. Now I satisfy that urge by tapping them on hard surfaces. The sound is very satisfying for me!
I remember sitting in my dads car on the way to school always breaking his sharpies and pens I. His car
@@randommoth4978 oh my god, tell me about it. Do people ask you all the time what's happened to them? People always do to me.
If you spin the blue tube that extends when it's fully extended it makes a cool whistle sound
There's a reason i can't buy that one and it's because my family will strangle me with it :P
LOL
Nerdcrafter :i hates puzzle balls
Nerdcrafter also be like at the space ball: this fidget is good 😎🤌🧂🧂🧂
