One of the truly pauper, pauper decks (price-wise) and a fun puzzle to solve every time you play or goldfish it. Thanks for running us through a league with it.
Great video! I love this deck and have been trying to learn it myself, and your video was very helpful for me learning lines. Most of my LGS is Grixis affinity and Gruul Ponza so idk how good this list actually is into that meta, but im looking forward to playtesting it more
Hey Kali, about 30:00, as a general rule, usually it is better to kill the putrid, because the Skirk can sac itself to generate red mana. So, if the opponent has another Skirk in hand, they can play it and go on with the combo. But black mana can be a little harder to produce, so cards like unearth/putrid can get stuck sometimes...
Gonna bring this deck to the local tourney tomorrow, great timing. Im playing almost the same list but 2 exhumes for 2 unearths and some trolls in the mana base. The turn 2 troll can really solo a game if your lucky
I tried the version with Exhume + Troll, and if i can give you an advice, i would play the more stock list. It's much more consistent. Yes, Exhume + Troll on turn 2 can steal some games, but most of the other times, it's just better to play the stock list IMHO.
@@kalikaiz Just finished the vid, very well played against cawgates. Something I can take away is that Flaring Pain is absolute unnecessary for this deck.
Hey, kali! Thanks for the gameplay on Moggwarts :) Why didn't you side REBs in against Poison Storm? I think I've heard you say countering its card draw is key in older videos.
So I just want to learn mtg ruling here, when prismatic stand was casted in response to your first day of class, how were you able to kill your opponent with the cannon? Does makeshift trigger before prismatic strand does?
Bridges not only made Affinity totally OP, but also enabled other degeneracies with Cleansing Wildfire and Kenku Artificer. It should have been banned along with the abhorrent Spellstutter long ago. But the PFP members are too indecisive since they don't even actively play.
@@kalikaiz Absolutely! It's the only counter spell that can be reused with ninjas to bury the opponent early on card advantage. It also makes the best anti-counterspell card Duress to be bad.

Thanks a lot! Gl finishing it!
@kalikaiz I only buy local that's why it's taking a while. Support your LGS!

Yeah that was a good juke in earlier iterations!

That g3 win against monoR was sweet with the Cast into Fire from top.
Yeah that was really amazing!

I felt like I could go under them I guess. Not sure
Any thoughts on the upcoming infinite combo (Basking Broodscale + Sadistic Glee)? Will it get banned immediately?
It is always powerful to have infinite Mana but it seems easy to disrupt

It doesn't give protection until it resolves. So you can still do stuff with it on the stack
@@kalikaiz thank you very much!!!
Eviscerator's Insight it’s a big boost in this deck +. Energy refractor…..let’s combo!

Gates player wasted 15+ minutes just to lose anyway. What a loser
And luckily you didn't have to sit through it hah!
