The presentation and history of this stamp is far more interesting than the stamp that was eventually produced. I much prefer any of the essays over the bland almost ugly stamp the King settled on. I love pre decimal British stamps, but this stamp is by far my least favourite of all the definitive stamps and is the only one I actually dislike. I do own a complete 5 shillings and exploded 2 shillings booklet that I like, but that is only because of the value they represent and how I managed to secure them.
