One thing to note is that robomando being a goblin isnt just a visual. His hitbox is smaller. If my memory serves me correctly, he can just stand under greater whisp shots because he is so small.

Greater *and* archaic wisps can both be low-profiled.
There's probably some other projectiles too but those are the most notable

Since you can re-get drones for free, i'd say stacking arms race and fireworks is a pretty good item combo too. A drone dies, and then you get a free Disposable Missile launcher proc basically if you revive it.

Very good idea! Alternately, with drone scrappers you can convert drones into more items for free

My one little tip is that you can jump while hacking stuff without interrupting it, not particularly helpful but can sometimes help you dodge attacks especially with some feathers or jetpacks

One thing that is worth noting is that strafing is possible if you use mouse aim
