So last week my waste couldn’t be collected from a wheelibin with a council logo on the front of it but they could collect in my own virtually identical wheeliebin that doesn’t have a council logo on the front of it

Absolutely ridiculous. Do you think that everyone is going to be able to throw food away? We are in a cost of living crisis. I’m not going to able to store two weeks of rubbish on my property. Who can afford compostable sacks for the food bins? Do we get a reduction on our council tax for all these changes? Utter nonsense!

Seems really wasteful forcing people to use new bins, when most of their old ones would have been smaller than the new ones

Seems completely pointless to force everyone to use the new wheelie bins, how do the new wheelies improve anything, probably just a nice big payout lining the pockets of some contracter with a friend in the council.

You wanna change it back before you turn cornwall into a dump. Many more issues here and I'll be throwing my waste out on the road, no bags or nothing. Ever since the change, we've had bins strewn all across the street cause binmen won't collect cause they can't bend their backs too far, so rats and birds tear everything apart. We should ALL stop paying service charges too, that'd fix the problem

The new bins arrived Wednesday. The green food bin is terrible, flimsy plastic with an I'll fitting lid that foxes and rats could rip apart in minutes.

Time to throw waste out without bags or bins. Let's see how the council like that. Let's stop paying service charges on rent too, that's fix the problem in a day
