With her mane slightly looser and the fact that she is relaxing her face and neck during haltering you can really see just how pretty of a face she has.She will clean up so beautifully!

Two very smart, gracious, calm, and kind ladies getting to know each other...what a privilege it is to witness this. And that mare is GORGEOUS! I agree with the other posters, lots of Spanish in her, not just her face and conformation but the way she moves. Maybe also some qtr horse? And the draft influence...I don’t see percheron. I’m thinking Belgian, mainly bc of her eyes (they are kind of hooded).

I love to watch your gentle way with your horses. You have such a quiet, non-threatening manner, and you really take your time. Funny footnote: I used to be a social worker, and I demonstrated that same quiet, gentle, non-threatening attitude towards my clients to win their confidence, so they would trust me enough to let me help them. People respond to that, too! :)
