The league needs to suspend him for the remainder of the season. This guy might seriously injure someone with his MMA antics. Another 10-game suspension won't fix the issue.
Funny thing about Draymond was that you could deal with his shenanigans when he was at his peak as a defender, playmaker, and occasional scorer (remember his 32/15/9 in game 7 of the 2016 Finals?). But now he's less effective as a player and the outbursts are more frequent. GSW can't succeed like this.
He said he tried to spin away...his hand was on his right hip, he intentionally spun to him and after hitting him then raised his arms. Green is full of crap. His team needs to step up and do something.
His “apology” is completely negated by the lie he told in saying he didn’t intend to do it. “Just trying to sell a call”? Really?!? That’s what players do to sell a call?!? They spin all the way around twice and in the first spin, if you slow down the footage, you make eye contact with the target, adjust your reach slightly to make sure you hit the side of his head, and then keep spinning?!? Hard to avoid retaliating against that. I always thought the point of it was to get them both ejected, which would have handed the Championship to Golden State.

That will not happen because of the Union and this Commissioner. NBA has so much negatively going these days, this is just one of many. At least he is not fighting with the fans like some of the players are.
Once the league knows how to get you out of your game, it's a wrap. Draymond lost the benefit of the doubt a while ago and every team can now just assign a player to push him into a technical/ ejection.

@butterbean2257 I think he deserves the rest of the season without pay. Thats two non-nba cheapshots in a few weeks. Really I dont see how no one has retaliated against him.
I think Dray is a dirty player, but I believe him in the sense that he probably didnt mean to hit him like that, and believes himself when he says it. It's not so much that he is crazy, he just lost a step and going dirtier now days to make up for it. On the Hall of fame thing. Draymond has yet to realize that his HOF argument is not because of the player he is but the teams he’s had. If acts like he’s a big name when he’s just a overvalued role player on a dominant team
You need to watch more basketball if you think his value to the Warriors was as a role player. Role players dont win DPOY awards and lead championship teams in assists.
Draymond got 5 games for trying to choke out Rudy Gobert. This isn't as hard of a hit, but it's the 2nd time he's assaulted someone when he's supposed to be playing basketball in the past 30 days. 20 game suspension minimum.

I have a feeling that's true, and if so then Steph is to blame and he should be proud of himself and the outcome...whatever that is going to be, even at the peril of his own legacy and the destruction of dub dynasty
There have always been guys in the league like Charles Oakley, Rick Mahorn, and Dennis Rodman who toed the line between physical and dirty. Draymond is now clearly on another level.
This is exactly why he gets away with it and continues to do it. You people are so blinded by the role he played in your championship teams that you refuse to even condemn him for his belligerent, reckless actions and behavior. He's a joke at this point, and one of these days someone is going to clean his clock. It probably won't be in the NBA, but it will happen. And he will deserve it 100%. He's an embarrassment.
It's really not that complicated, he's a BULLY. He is showing everyone what happens when there are no consequences for your actions. Also, the NBA is full of cowards. How do you just stand and watch one of your teammates get knocked out and do nothing? If i was Nurkic, i would demand a trade immediately. I couldn't play with guys who don't have my back.
The way Rich is describing this doesn't paint the full picture. Draymind FULLY turns around before swinging his arm at Nurkic's face. So there is no way he didn't know "what he was swinging at". This was as deliberate as it gets and no apology can make it go away. If you ask me, he's apologizing to get and avoid a double digit suspension from the League.
I just find it hard to believe this dude hasn’t gotten into fights in his personal life’s unless this is the only place he knows he can get away with it.
Rings dont make you HOF...dude has 5 career 25 point games and 6 suspensions😂😂😂. Always good for 4 plus turnovers a game...How tf you think hes HOF material...Ben Simmons has better numbers
Not a good look for the nba. Like cmon have some emotional control Warriors run is over something is off about this team? Maybe age is catching up better younger players ?
People say Draymond is like Dennis Rodman. No, Rodman would get you 20 rebounds. Draymond would be in jail if he were assaulting people in real life and he isn’t worth the headache. He sucks. He’s a bum who got carried to multiple rings by Steph and Klay.
If I was the player that got decked by him. Next time we played. I’d just knock him out. First quarter first chance. Knock him out. Then apologize. Just protecting myself. Sorry.
Part of the reason Draymond is still acting out, at an increasing rate, is because the NBA has often let him off with a fine instead of a suspension. Draymond clearly thinks it's ok to hit people as long as he tries to make it look accidental. NO ONE believes he did that on accident. This reminds me of when Artest elbowed Harden. Draymond needs to get in through his head he can't behave like this. He's going to hurt someone. Taking his lies and serial offender status he should be suspended for at least 20 games.
Draymond is the reason I'll always believe the 96 Bulls beat 16 or 17 Warriors because Rodman would mentally own him and have him out of every game by the 2nd quarter.
When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

Draymond pretty much say he don’t he doesn’t flop, but in the same sentence he say he was selling the call isn’t that pretty much admitting to flopping 🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾
A flop indicates there was NO foul, they’re just faking. Selling the call, meaning, the player believes he was fouled but not getting the call.
@@Well-beingCris.. flopping isn’t exaggeration of a foul and that is exactly what selling a call is
Selling the call is flopping, you wouldn't have to sell it if it was a legitimate foul. The only difference is how obvious it is.
@@drhexagonapus 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯wow Speechless
@@barnardkemp9693 must not take much if that left you speechless. There's enough foul calls every game without the players exaggerating contact by flailing their arms around and hitting a guy in the jaw. They are athletes not actors, so any over the top reaction to contact is a flop in my book. I don't care if they think the foul was legit or not, that's for the refs to decide. If it's legit you don't need to sell it.
"Hits Lebron in his King James." 🤣🤣Love you Rich, I needed that laugh today.
Hard to avoid retaliating against that. I always thought the point of it was to get them both ejected, which would have handed the Championship to Golden State.
Rich, please don’t root for draymond. There are plenty more deserving people.
He's too worried about being tough and not worried enough about being what the team needs
Im surprised he is still in the league. If Draymond gets into the hall of fame that would be an absolute disgrace to the league and so disrespectful to all the players in the hall
That's not surprising, what IS surprising is given the state of sports and the country in general is you're surprised.
He's got more suspensions than 25 point games...He always been 🗑...he ain't HOF
I'm not calling him Dennis rodman but he played that role in one of if not the best dynasty ever
Honestly- he keeps getting away with things, so he just keeps doing more things, this isn’t a Rubik’s cube😂 people don’t change without accountability
he needs to sit 25 games
Minimum. He should’ve been suspended 20 plus games for Rudy gobert

Seems like Draymond has a problem with Europeans. Sabonis and the two this year are Europeans. Would be nice to see this guy suspended indefinitely until he works through some of his issues. That will not happen because of the Union and this Commissioner. NBA has so much negatively going these days, this is just one of many. At least he is not fighting with the fans like some of the players are.
3 of those are Flagrant 2.
Once the league knows how to get you out of your game, it's a wrap. Draymond lost the benefit of the doubt a while ago and every team can now just assign a player to push him into a technical/ ejection.
That's what u want is for the warriors fall apart they going to rise above and move on with or Draymond he face of the warriors you all don't want them to another championship they are going to win another championship

If Draymond green gets in the hall of fame that would be a big mistake
I’ve been a Warriors fan since the early 90’s. Draymond (and the way the Warriors handle him) has put me off these last few years. I need a new team.
Wolves could always use more fans on our bandwagon and there has never been a better time to hop on! The team is likeable and are for real.

Even if he didn't mean to do it, he lost his "benefit of the doubt" card many times over.
if this is what he does live on national television and in practice imagine what he does off the court 😳
i really hope the HOF snubs him, this dude doesn't deserve it
Definitley intentional. He surely hopes to hit people with his flops. The accident is if he doesn't hit someone.
Most of his inappropriate contact is from him trying to "sell calls". Especially the kicking of Steven Adams groin!
The stupidest part of it is he spun the wrong way. Clearly and obviously so he could hit him with his more dominant right hand instead of his left. Dude is a complete and total joke.
I bet he would NEVER do that to Jokic tho
And that’s why Jokic did what he did in that Miami game. If he did nothing it would have been open season on another “soft” big Euro you can mess with to get them off their game cause you can’t stop them otherwise.

If the NBA does not do something about this guy, the next time he does this to some player it is going to become a riot in the court. Teams are not going to put up with this. Green could actually hurt somebody badly and ruin a career. Next time there will be retaliation and it will be warrented.

He certainly wasn’t apologetic immediately after he hit him. He showed absolutely no concern for Nurkic whatsoever. While Nurkic was lying on the floor in front of him he was pleading his case to the officials.
20 game suspension,an aplogy statement, and MANDATORY anger managment completed Before returning to the team. PERIOD!
Lets be clear Draymond in the 90's would have got laid out.... he wouldn't have tried that with Barkley, Malone, Kemp, Oakley or any of those dudes hes trying this in a PG league... plus in the 90's i dont think he would have been in the league longer than 2 or 3 seasons.
What’s Colin Cowherd’s defense for Draymond this time?
Colin Didn t show up to work 😂😂

Draymond needs to get kicked out of the league. This dude is a liability. How many chances they going to give this clown to injure another player?
The coaches body language was damming. They didn’t do anything- but that’s what’s damming about it. They didn’t react, or rush, or tried to at least talk to Draymond. They just sat there and we’re like “welp this again…”
As a warriors fan, we need to trade this guy. It is no longer bringing an edge to the team, it's just ridiculous now.
I cant believe the NBA wont hold him accountable. He needs to be suspended for half a season. If I were one of his victims, I would take a cheap shot at his knee next chance I got. No way I would let a choke hold slide.
He only got 5 games for that. 5 games. Thats the precedent for choking a player.
@butterbean2257 I think he deserves the rest of the season without pay. Thats two non-nba cheapshots in a few weeks.
Really I dont see how no one has retaliated against him.
@butterbean2257 Hard foul? It looks like MMA moves is only a 5 game suspension.
I think Dray is a dirty player, but I believe him in the sense that he probably didnt mean to hit him like that, and believes himself when he says it. It's not so much that he is crazy, he just lost a step and going dirtier now days to make up for it. If it was personal he would say that, he was just trying to be way to hard in the moment and probably lost himself.
Rich is absolutely correct. He can’t control his hands or his feet. I thought his behavior would change after they lost an NBA Finals for it but I guess I was wrong 🤷🏻♂️
Why do people say Green is going to be in the HOF? Career 8 PPG, 6 Rebounds a game. Green was a role player on a very talented team. Put him on a low level team and he would have been out of the league years ago.
As a long time defender of Draymond. I can’t anymore lollll was a good run though
Draymond Green is a coward I've never liked the guy something about his personality is just off.

I grew up, loving Dennis Rodman from his Pistons days to his ill fitting tenures in LA and in Dallas. I defended his behavior constantly. But, Draymond's behavior is indefensible.
As a warriors fan I saw this live last night and this exactly what I did after it happened 🤦🏽 again 🤦🏽♂️ Steph need to say something man it’s his team 🫵🏽 Drays still there because Wardell said so.
I have a feeling that's true, and if so then Steph is to blame and he should be proud of himself and the outcome...whatever that is going to be, even at the peril of his own legacy and the destruction of dub dynasty
Steph is scared of him and the rest of the organization follows behind Steph
I still don’t understand how he not being charged with assault. This guy is clearly a danger to other players and anyone else who’s on the court
I'm guessing the other player would have to press charges for him to get charged, but it definitely could be considered a crime.
Because then jails would be full of football and hockey players.

"What is your major malfunction, numb nuts?!"
The way he tried to flail like he got fouled when doing it was ridiculous 😒
