For the rest of my life, whenever I am having a miserable day or week or when something bad has happened to me ... I will re-watch this video again from start to finish... THANK YOU RONNIE FOR WHAT YOU DO!!! :-)
came to rewatch this especially for this reason. Watching Ronnie stuff Selby especially after those difficult defeats (2014 WSC final...) is a wonderful antidepressant
Same here mate I love it I hate selby like cancer they hate each other ronnie was having sly digs at selby about the cue action because selby just try's to play boring to put ronnie with his slow game and selby has a horrible cue action hes all over the place
I’m a huge fan of Hendrys commentary. He only speaks when he has something to say and doesn’t feel the need to fill the air with talk and hyperboil (like Murphy) but the best thing is you see his eye for position, he sees something and then explains its benefit and why a player should go for a particular shot - it’s a fascinating insight into what made him such a dominant player and shows his mind is still as sharp as ever.
Ronnie has just won his 7th World title, but these are the best 3 frames I have ever watched. I, like most of the country watching this at the time, thought Ronnie was done for and he plays almost perfect snooker, when any mistake could have been his last. This was definitely the highlight of 2020, a year that will never be forgotten in history.
@@eyeshandyThat's right. When Ronnie starts smiling then plays left handed to make his 1,000th century. Clive Everton starts laughing. He's always been a good commentator, going right back to the 1980s.
It's so good. I watch every now and then. At first I was watching it 5 times a day for a couple of weeks. It was my favourite player, Ronnie, who I thought was beaten, against the player I dislike the most, the slow, boring Mark Selby, Ronnie just going for mad shots, I was a nervous wreck when I was watching it live, but when Ronnie came back and won, I couldn't believe what I was watching. The best 3 frames I've ever seen. Go Ronnie
I watched this ‘live’ - in the middle of packing for moving to my new flat - and went from resigned misery to euphoric ecstasy during the course of these 50 minutes. Breathtaking stuff, the likes of which make this worth watching over and over again.
These 3 frames illustrate the very essence of Ronnie O Sullivan. 3 absolute R amtuzzlors of pots to get in first in each frame. Flawless Fearless play from the Rocket under intense pressure. He played like it meant nothing when everything was on the line. Poetry in motion. Fair play Ronnie and a big Thanks to whoever uploaded this video.
In the context of what happened in the previous frame and the situation of the final, the 138 break seemed like Ronnie just accessed another snooker dimension. One of the most transfixing sporting moments I've ever witnessed.
Never forget this night. I was heartbroken. Even texting my brother that Ronnie had thrown the towel in. Then this happened. I'll never doubt him again.
I was watching with some friends we felt the same way, but the pure joy we felt when Ronnie won was just so uplifting, almost tearful, now he has his 7th world which he always wanted to equal Hendry, no matter what Ronnie says, he wanted 7 world's 🌎 now he has, also 8 UKs, 8 Masters 23 triple crowns, incredible. The Goat 🐐
This was amazing, watching it live, I was a nervous wreck, the way Ronnie was just playing mad shots. I'm sure Selby thought he was in the final, looking up at his missus, thinking, ' I'll see this out'. Ronnie's pot in the penultimate frame off the balk cushion was sublime, like Hendry said. It has to be the best 3 frames I've ever seen. The Rocket never fails to amaze. Go on Ronnie.
Watched this video so many times i remember every word the commentator will say. I remember watching this live and i was literally biting my fingernails. Even though it would be more pleasing to the eye if ronnie had won the decider in one visit, that safety exchange... And ronnie outclassing selby in his power zone, that was sublime.
The last safety exchange just showed Ronnie's genius, slowly squeezing life out of Mark's granite solid game. Selby coming up with great shots only to be outshined and outdone by Sullivan's effortless array of prowess. Mark barely sat down all pleased with his last shot only to witness and face next level brilliance. There's no other player that can do what Ronnie does ===> the speed, the grace....

this is such a huge moment in Snooker history actually. We knew that even though it was "only" the semi final the winner of this match would become World Champion. Wilson had no hope in the final. Ronnie had finally won his sixth World title after a 6 year dry spell and it was the catalyst to go on and win his 7th World title just two years later.
This is why snooker is a beautiful sport. The tension, the precision, the clutch plays. I remember watching this and will certainly never forget it, one of the most exciting moments I've ever seen
This is the stuff of legends. If you were watching this live on tv then you, like the rest of us were watching something so incredible, spine tingling, nerve wracking, when Ronnie won it was a mad mixture of feelings, relief, disbelief, pure joy, me and my friends were shouting Yes, Yes, he's won. I love to keep coming back to this, once a year maybe. If you didn't have the privilege of watching it as it unfolded, this is at least a good compensation for those of you who missed out. Watch this as this really is legendary. Ronnie O'Sullivan the GOAT 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
I remember watching this live, him being down two frames, saying never count the GOAT out, don’t be surprised if he does something magic and he did this. Unbelievable
This is the best 45 minutes of snooker I've ever seen (watched about 20 times)especially against Mark Selby, in fact nearly as good as 5 centuries in best of 9 which included a 147 against Ali Carter❤😂
I tend to watch this regularly (mainly for Stephen Hendry’s commentary, as he is the best in the business), the one thing I am not sure if anyone has commented on is the pace Ronnie plays the last red, misses it, covered by the Blue/Yellow. Watched the last sessions live and couldn’t move. Epic.
Mark Selby did nothing wrong, played superb snooker. Ronnie knew his only hope was to give it 100% attack as he needed the last 3 frames to win. Reverse this and Selby would have ground it out and strangled the game to get over the line. This is why Ronnie is unique. Anyone who suffered the 2014 final will remember how Selby crushed the the spirit of all snooker purists. No one could ever wish for that kind of repressive formula again. Ronnie wasn`t going to suffer that again. His battle-hardened mindset knew what to do this time around. He beat Mr Granite with pure brilliance.
The last three frames of this match are the highlight of the entire 2020 World Championships. When I watch Federer I see fans waving flags reminding us we are seeing a genius at work, Ronnie is in that same mould; to add to Stephen Hendry’s Comment 49 minutes of pure O’ Sullivan genius. 20 Triple Crowns ( 6 World Tittles, 7 Masters Titles and 7 UK Titles, 37 Ranking Titles, 1000 plus centuries, 15 147 Maximums) as Hendry said in frame 32 ‘this is what he does’ a snooker G.O.A.T...Sheer Brilliance.
No man, I don’t think he will reach 8 world titles. My prediction is... that this blitz comeback from Ronnie - who seemed absolutely buried by Mark - will have the same impact on him as 2014 final in Sheffield had on Ronnie. It will take some time for mark to wake up from this nightmare. Because just showed him a completely different level of snooker, which is a serious blow to any player confidence
I am big fan of ronnie but i think when you have big big success in a short amount of time and you have all the records you lose the desire and the motivation to carry on . But if chendry challenged himself and put a goal ahead of himself he could'vd won more titles. Take a look now ,the majority of top 16 age is above 32.
Yeah, he stopped having that desire to win, that motivation that does pump yourself. He slowly started to lose against a lot of the pros and began to be even more desmotivated
He took real damage against ebdon in 2002. Ronnie did the finishing blow in 2004 and 2008 semis. Those were huge losses he never experienced before. Totally dominated by the rocket.
@@mr.krinkle1177 well, yeah. You can't really compare Ronnie to the guys that he was beating all the time to get into the finals in the 90's. Jimmy White was really the better one but not enough to win against him, got close just 1 time in the finals.
João Francisco Chanoca yeah I agree he played in weaker era. But he was a true pioneer nonetheless. Took the game and pushed it to today's modern attacking snooker that's why I have huge respect for him. But Ronnie took it another level. He is the ultimate snooker player and I laugh when Hendry fans say ”hendry is better” :))

An unbelievable win for Ronnie and the most exciting semi final I’ve ever seen. Selby played an unbelievable escape to re snooker Ronnie in that last frame. Probably the best snooker escape ever played, given the circumstances. Ronnie held out to win, I just couldn’t believe how he’d turned this match around. Revenge for 2014 finally came. Fantastic match.
Anyone noticed that O'Sullivan opened that last frame decider with his "weaker" left hand? What a boss move in that stage of a match... :D #greatestofalltimes #TheRocket
@@AmazinglyGayPhil I would say even higher. The touch he has and control with the left arm is just seriously epic... I guess he can win against anyone with only playing left-handed 😁
He has been breaking off left handed for years now. His left handed game was peak around 2009. There were matches when he’d alternate left/right/left/right on every shot for his own amusement

@EMANeleVenElevEn 10 years ?!? Where did you come up with that crap ?!? He has 5 left at best. He's already 37 years old. The style he uses drains a man out, he will be finished after the age of 40.
This was just an incredible finish to this match. From 14-16 down Ronnie stepped up about 3 gears. He scored 276 points without reply before Mark scored 34 when Ronnie's break in the decider ended at 64. To make breaks of 138, 71 & 64 to win 17-16 from 14-16 down is incredible and only Ronnie O'Sullivan could have done that.
Ronnie is the king of Snooker. What an amazing stuff that was. His commitment when he’s potting, also the safety shots were amazing. Definitely incredible.
One of the most incredible sequence of final frames ever. When Selby was interviewed at the end, he described O'Sullivan's play as disrespectful, which somehow made the occasion even more enjoyable.
@@saggioepicureo His constant hit & hopes weren't in the spirit of snooker which still holds the standards of a gentlemen's game, the type of sport where it's customary to apologize if you fluke a shot. I get what he was saying but it was kind of a compliment actually, Ronnie knew he couldn't beat him in a slug fest so didn't even try. What can be a little disrespectful (imo) is when Ronnie plays snooker like this, then does nothing but whine in the post-match which he does ALOT. His absolute honesty is admirable but sometimes it gets a bit much, like he's taking the piss out of himself, his opponent & the game itself.
Ronnie is a supernatural force. .thanks ronnie from a still suffering Jimmy White fan. Alongside the genius flair you won the biggest matches as this video shows better than most. Superb stuff.
I watched this live. The Best 3 frames I’ve ever seen from a player. He gave Mark a chance and just thought “fuck it, if you’re not gonna take it I’ll pot everything in sight”. Incredible
Man, in the decider Ronnie looked like he would make the 3rd frame winning break in a row and Selby wont score a point. Balls were all in the open. Ronnie somehow landed straight on the black and had to force it in and got an unwanted contact on the reds. I expected to get the red into the green pocket. When he missed i feared the worst and a loss would have been so devastating considering how he played in the last 2 1/2 frames.
When he was straight on the black, why didn't he screw back and play for the red to the left middle? ruclips.net/video/IIo8S7W9YQI/видео.html Sorry I'm no expert on snooker
@@TofuTofu88 he was not exactly straight, he could have screwed back with reverse side but wont get far towards the 2 reds on the right of the pink. He should have been more careful when plays the red before that black to ensure nice position on the black but then again at that time reds are every where so no extra attention given iguess. I still think about this to be honest eventhough Ronnie already has the sixth world trophy in his cabinet at home...
If he were straight the screw back would have been the choice most definitely. He was left with a very slight angle leading the cue ball towards the black cushion. You can still screw back with reverse side there as has been mentioned but its not easy and you probably won't get up table much but perhaps in between the red's. The position is not a given... The top spin choice was great obviously. I think it's quite unlucky to land there with so many red's open. At the same time its a bad shot landing there. Might sound like I'm pretending to be an expert lol but no not at all it's just how I see it.
Selby clearly wanted it more, Ronnie couldn't give a fuck. 😂😂😂. Think Selby chewed his knuckles off during that last snooker. Nothing to prove anymore, just takes everything as a bonus at this stage/age in his career. Legend.
Maybe the best three frames of snooker I've ever seen, and a devastating comeback from Ronnie -- one which arguably did permanent damage to Selby's psyche -- and Ronnie can only go on about not having a cue action and how he just got lucky! Ronnie forever taking the piss! 😂
For the rest of my life, whenever I am having a miserable day or week or when something bad has happened to me ... I will re-watch this video again from start to finish... THANK YOU RONNIE FOR WHAT YOU DO!!! :-)

That interview at the end is the best I've heard - ALL ABOUT THE CUE ACTION! 😂😂
Ronnie is the king of Snooker. What an amazing stuff that was. His commitment when he’s potting, also the safety shots were amazing. Definitely incredible.
Most satisfying sequence I have ever watched. I would not be happier than having trophies. Nothing else compares with seeing Selby as roasted.
Great 👌 incredible mach
One of the most incredible sequence of final frames ever. When Selby was interviewed at the end, he described O'Sullivan's play as disrespectful, which somehow made the occasion even more enjoyable.
Why disrespectful?
Selby forgot to mention how many frames he won, because of Ronnie's "disrespectful" shots - like when it was in his favor was OK.
What a shame it wasn't the final...and what a shame that it was without fans
Ronnie went into GOD mode at 16-14 down, like nobody else ever could.
O’Sullivan é uma máquina de jogar, tamanha é sua precisão.
You’re not wrong mate. His cue action was all over the gaf
Ronnie is a supernatural force. .thanks ronnie from a still suffering Jimmy White fan. Alongside the genius flair you won the biggest matches as this video shows better than most. Superb stuff.
The best in the World. Congratulations Ronnie , thank you!
I don’t watch a snooker upload more than this one
He was not exactally straight and the easy reverse side shot is not for right handeds in this side of the table. 33:12
One red was going to right middle after last black. Was that better option than he played? I am not very good at also. Thanks.
Whenever i feel broken i will watch the face of Selby maybe it'll relieve me
Why
Whenever i get constipation i see your comment. lololol

Brilliant Ronnie! What a super Final, best in the World. Congratulations Ronnie
The 138 was a beautiful break. He's got the delicate touch.
Hoy, Congratulations Ronnie! Good job Sir, amazing match.
some people when they wanna feel good go score some H, meth or coke. I come here and watch these last 3 frames
Hendry’s reaction at 42:49 gets me every time 🤣
Selby clearly wanted it more, Ronnie couldn't give a fuck. 😂😂😂. Think Selby chewed his knuckles off during that last snooker. Nothing to prove anymore, just takes everything as a bonus at this stage/age in his career. Legend.
Simply the greatest player ever
O melhor de todos os tempos...
Excellent ,it even better live.
I think Ronnie controls the white ball ,better than any other player .
Maybe the best three frames of snooker I've ever seen, and a devastating comeback from Ronnie -- one which arguably did permanent damage to Selby's psyche -- and Ronnie can only go on about not having a cue action and how he just got lucky! Ronnie forever taking the piss! 😂
Even with a crap cue action ronnie is too good for everyone, what a dude what a player.
Probably three of the best frames ever played in snooker ..
Speechless!
Long live ronnie o just amazing to watch what a comeback
