I'm impressed with Colton's versatility. He doesn't like he's sounded in other roles before.
I didn't know Colton Ryan existed until I saw him on "Poker Face ." Since, I've looked for everything I can find online. It's thrilling to watch this enormous talent advance
Alice by Heart is a musical that he’s in!! It’s phenomenal, I’d really recommend it!! It is sad though so be prepared to cry.
truly!! he just keeps doing bigger and bigger projects and its lovely. ive been a huge fan since 2020 when i discovered alice by heart and since then all his work has been so great to see

I think it’s hard for one off performances like this to do it justice, but I love this magical show and will be seeing it over and over! I hope both of them snag Tony noms!

Nobody gonna mention Liza Minnelli? I mean, she’s a living legend and I read these comments and it’s like nobody remembers the original movie and realises how she was a muse to Kander & Ebb.

She was their muse, big time. And they wrote some of their best songs - for her. Don't overlook the huge contribution Liza made to this great song writing team.

Kander and Miranda. Pretty damn cool.
Wrong. Kander and Ebb were the business. Miranda doesn't belong with the music of this legendary team. Fred Ebb was one of the wittiest, sharpest lyricists in musical theater. He was right up there. Miranda just isn't in the race. One of the biggest problems with Fred Ebb however, is that today, people aren't listening. They don't get the jokes. Like Sondheim and Hammerstein and Cole Porter, he is just to clever for audiences today. 'Witty' is a word they don't get, sadly.

This was just a such an awkward song to cap the show off, coupled with the fact that Colton was not a good choice for this role. I expected so much more from this creative team and it was a total mess

@@AtWordsPoetic The character in the film is meant to be a major pain in the neck. One of the reasons why the film is a major pain in the neck too. It's the 'book' which is the issue. Who wants to watch an irritating charm free character for three hours? Not me.
He's a good singer but charm free, unfortunately.

I saw it, unfortunately, it was just OK, didn’t change my life. Not a fan of the non-Kander and Ebb songs. They also should’ve made the story about her not him.
Lin Manuel Miranda needed to stay out of this. His work just isn't in the race. And it doesn't sound like it comes from the Kander - Ebb songbook either.
She’s not on pitch. Consistently slightly above the pitch. Can we not find people to sing on pitch?
Here’s a thought: if it’s consistent, maybe it’s intentional.
