I watch so many series of yu gi oh and i notice the fact that none of the duelist actually shuffles their deck unless some exceptions. I think some of the villains even put their deck like that just to draw the card that they need in time.
Imagine, Its the final championship match of the Yu Gi Oh Tournament, Your opponent goes first, You suspect he could be running a powerful meta deck, Perhaps even a- "I win, Via exodia effect"

Your first card can be any part which means a chance of 15/40, but the second you need any other of the four parts remaining which means 12/39, third 9/38, fourth 6/37 and fifth 3/36. Now if you only have 1 card for each part, chances are way lower.

@@kristoforusranandiasuliset3736 Well...if you draw the 5 parts is fair,if you draw the 5 parts with an exodia deck is filthy but still fair,and well...at some point the game stopped been sort off fair,since a while ago they are decks very broken,I havent played since a while but I remember decks like 6 samurais,blackwings and dark world if you faced one on them they could have beated in 1 turn even more on a normal deck that isnt made for tournaments.
The combination of those cards at the start, imagine if that happened to WWE real life one day or should’ve done in WWE SVR 2010 game road to Wrestlemania mode combining every title they have like this scene and make it the champion of champions

Best FTK ever. Too bad you can't pull this off on a physical copy of the game unless you cheat. Those "Right Arm" and "Left Arm" drops are completely useless because the other three Exodia cards are only obtainable in the Japanese release thanks to the Pocket Station.

I have this game on emulator, but I want a physical copy for my ps1. I know it would take a while, but I want to play fair without cheats and unlock all the cards by dueling. I've had a physical copy of this before and dueled against other players on couch co-op, but couch co-op kinda sucks. I want to unlock all 5 pieces of exodia, I know you can try to fuse and if you fuse unsuccessfully, you draw the same amount of cards you wasted in the fail fusion.
In the english version of the game you can only obtain 689 cards out of 722, and some of those 689 can only be fused for or ritual summoned where you can't get a copy of the card in your deck like swords of revealing light as an example.
The english version lacked the pocketstation accessory, which was the only way to obtain some cards including the legs of Exodia. The worst part of the game was the insane difficulty when you won 1 card at a time it takes a long while to put together a deck that can feasibly beat the final gauntlet of enemies without saving.

@@Peppins That wasn’t the question 😩There were no effect monsters. I’m guessing Exoida was the only exception cause it’s the Head Of Exoida that actually had the win con effect.
The only 'effect' monster in forbidden memories is Exodia. Everything else has just attack, defense, and guardian stars. Even so Exodia only has an effect if you draw all 5 pieces simultaneously.

My game would of froze on the ps1 if you watched the fight it would freeze 90% of the time. What sucks is YuGiOh and pokeafish both had these fighting things and then switched to just lame attack animation for years
