What do you think about references Kantian vs Utilitarian ethics within a prompt. For example referencing the greatest good for all vs a “golden rule approach” to answer ethical prompts then selecting the one that you personally adhere to. Thank you for your help.

This is a very nuanced topic, and honestly, the framing of either of those types of answers can have an even larger impact in a grader's eyes than which style of answer you choose. Making sure you acknowledge all sides and potential pros and cons of the answer you're selecting, showing a nuanced understanding of the prompt, is often more important. Hopefully this helps!

I’ve heard everything from 2 hours to 12 weeks to give yourself to prepare for CASPer - this test is bizarre. How long should a person study for it?

Great question! The official CASPer site (takecasper.com/faq/) does have some FAQs suggesting that learning the format and taking the practice test is important, and that doing the practice test is correlated to higher scores (takecasper.com/2019/05/how-should-i-study-for-the-casper-test/). We would recommend about a week of real preparation, and have admissions consulting sessions available if students want help practicing these types of questions!
