If you were the professor would you not want to see why the felt the need to cheat? Would you want to address or identify any underlying issues such as a fundamental misunderstanding of the material, or perhaps a lack of understanding why cheating negatively impacts themselves and their colleagues?
I wrote about that in my responses as well. I find it imperative to know why they felt unprepared for the exam and felt the need to cheat. Maybe, as a professor, I need to change the way I teach to make the content more approachable. However, I also made sure to include some of the other content that the video mentioned. I guess we just have to be super quick thinkers and typers to nail all parts of this exam.

okay but telling your classmate that you're going to turn them in but you'll help them plead their case to the conduct committee against the thing you snitched on them for in the first place is crazy 🤣
We hear you! But remember the purpose of the exam: The Casper raters are evaluating your decision-making process and commitment to upholding ethical standards, even if it would be "socially unpopular."
@atran1858 No it's not crazy. It's the furthest thing from crazy. Informing people that the consequences of their actions are awaiting them before they are awoken to them in a more shocking way is a good thing.

I really hope we get to see the questions and the quote as we answer, because otherwise this is ridiculously, RIDICULOUSLY unfair to neurodivergent students who need to see something like the quote in Q3 again as they answer the question. But then again, what else is new in this whole process. The MCAT is just a torture test for neurodivergent students and puts us at a complete handicap. I had to absolutely headbutt my way into a 510.
My response is, I’d alert the professor of what I saw and have them formally investigate and handle what they deemed fit to the academic code of conduct we agreed to. What I could of seen could be wrong and the professor can investigate and form their own oppinion on the matter
I feel like this is a test that people study for, but never use in real life. Who would snitch on a classmate for cheating? Some of these "correct answer" scenarios are a bit too unrealistic, I think.
I was taught to never lie , cheat or steal or tolerate anyone who does.......but I primarily work in jobs that people could die if cheating stealing or lying were tolerated.
Hey yeah so just sharing that the Casper test is marked using AI tech and the AI tech is programmed to look for key words. You need to type in the key words to pass...and of course the only way to know the key words is having a trusting friend that has taken a Casper workshop share them with you or taking an expensive Casper workshop to gain access to the key words. The Casper company does not have to reveal how Casper is marked under trade secret like KFC recipe chicken...but everybody knows that it is marked using AI tech...otherwise why would you fail if you don't have the key words this hints to tech programming that is similar to job site tech programs like Indeed that looks for key words or they don't forward your resume on to the employer...etc.
CHEATING Question 1: I would comfort my school mate after class so I wont disturbed the class when a test is being taken place. I would confront him and tell him to admit to the teacher that he was cheating. If he refuese then I would tell the teacher myself. If he had a problem in his life I would still tell him to talk to the teacher and be honest, while telling him to seek the right help for his problem. Question 2: I would conforte both the charter and the nebiuour after the exam in private and tell them to confess ot their actions to the teacher. If they refused I would tell the teacher myself. If they had a life problem going on I would still thell them to be honest and tell the teacher and seek the correct help form their. Regardless of the outcome I would remind them of the importance of honesty and choosing a correct moral pass. Question 3: I would and tell them that I knew they were cheating. I would tell them to explain their reason for cheating. What ever the cause I have to uphold profesllism and morality and give him a zero or some reputations for cheating. If they give a resonable reason like not having enough time to study, I would support my student and help him study and develop time management protocols
Is it good to give an answer addressing the person in the scenario in first person perspective? For example writing as your answer "hey Dan I've noticed you've been falling behind on your work, is there anything we can do to help you?"
Could you please link the supplemental practice CASPer questions you spoke about at the end of the video? I had a look on your website but I was unable to find it.
Hi Nisha, you have to take a Casper workshop in order to get access to the key words to type in during the test...as they mark using AI technology...no matter how great you answer the test you won't pass without the key words the AI tech is looking for or programmed to look for.
Would it have been valid in the third question of the first scenario if we said something along the lines of counseling and educating each of the culpable students, taking more of a rehabilitationalist approach as opposed to a punitive approach? I specifically mentioned discounting previous assignments and replacing them with new ones. Or does CASPer emphasize taking the more punitive measures like reporting all the wrongdoers irrespective of the circumstances.
No matter what you response, it's important to discuss various considerations. Adcoms are looking to learn now just your "decision" but also how you came to it. Therefore, spell out your thought process to win those additional points. It's like a math problem--you can get partial credit if you show your work, even if your final answer isn't 100% correct.
There's a lot of things wrong about this CasPer test and I think it should be abolished. 1. How can people rate your moral from 1 to 9? What appears to be moral for one person might not necessarily be so for another. This must be purely subjective. 2. What if you are a "slow typer"? This discriminates you from joining med school or studying a degree that has no correlation between your success in it and the way you respond via text or when pressured to talk in front of a camera. WHAT THE HELL?
I am trying to see how you follow PPRDJ method in these answers but the answers do not seem to follow that outline. This is making it hard for me to know how to answer. It doesn't seem like your following an outline in any of the answers.
This video is informative. However, I don't think their responses are realistic. They typed whole paragraphs for their response examples, and it's not realistic when you only have 5 mins for 3 loaded questions. Also, before someone chews my head off, YES, other Casper videos on YT that provide a more realistic response to scenarios. It is still a helpful video but i would take their response with a grain of salt and figure out ways on how to say more with less words.
Here's a Casper question for you: What if my answers have many typos because I'm trying to fit all my thoughts in? Which should I prioritize, spelling or good content riddled with spelling errors?
Absolutely good content. CASPer says that they try their best to ignore spelling mistakes (so long as it doesn't impair clear communication), while they actively look for content
Am I the only one that thinks the answer for the first question sounded really pompous and holier-than-thou and as a result not at all compassionate? I think it's the way it's worded. Does anyone else have any thoughts? I'm trying to figure out how to change my answer to be better but that one doesn't sit right with me for some reason
I'm genuinely wondering if that's the answer this test was looking for. That's an insane response. "Threaten cheater/rat cheater out, then get involved with cheater in some advisory/advocacy capacity if they confess their trivial sin that carries a potentially career ending consequence"-----Can you imagine if another student threatened to have your career destroyed before it even began? That is NOT the kind of threat I have any interest in making towards somebody, that in itself could very well be life threatening. It's the schools responsibility to maintain academic integrity, not vigilante students. I'm gonna put my life or wellbeing on the line so this little ethical violation can be prosecuted, that's insane. Without knowing what this test is actually looking for, this information is basically useless.
Thanks for your video it's really helpful. I have a question and I'd like to know what u think if u dont mind. English is not my first language and the sentences I use are very simple with not so many elaborate words. Would that cause a problem? And what do you suggest for me to do to improve?
thanks for the helpful video. Should we write complete sentences? Can we write short incomplete sentences since it may save my time. I mean phrases without subjects rather than full sentences.I believe raters do not look at grammar or spelling.
Hi Nalin! We recommend writing complete sentences so raters can clearly understand your responses. Check out our blog post on this topic for more detailed guidance: www.shemmassianconsulting.com/blog/casper-test

Yeah youre really not supposed to confront students. You tell the professor. you do not want to be caught up in some BS. you say I saw X doing Y and thats it. You can feel bad about it but theres some institutions that will punish you or your class if youre not careful.
that answer that was provided in the vid for the cheating reeked of psychosis. I've never cheated on an exam, nor have I seen anyone else cheat, but if I heard of another student doing that "threaten cheater/be cheaters ethical advisor and advocate" I would make an conscious effort to stay very far away from that person. That is also the kind of person who starts massive shit in the workplace.

Hi Borat, This exam is marked using AI technology the test takers need to input key words in order to pass this test as the AI tech is screening for these words...you can input all the best answers but without the key words from a Casper workshop you won't pass
@@angelaanderson2105I see you commenting a lot about AI. Please stop spreading misinformation. Your comment can negatively impact the other candidate’s results.
This was a very good video!! I learned a lot by this
okay but telling your classmate that you're going to turn them in but you'll help them plead their case to the conduct committee against the thing you snitched on them for in the first place is crazy 🤣
We hear you! But remember the purpose of the exam: The Casper raters are evaluating your decision-making process and commitment to upholding ethical standards, even if it would be "socially unpopular."
@atran1858
No it's not crazy. It's the furthest thing from crazy. Informing people that the consequences of their actions are awaiting them before they are awoken to them in a more shocking way is a good thing.
I just paid $52 to take this test. The base fee is $40 for health science professionals.
Applying to McMaster University's RPN-RN Bridge next month! Wish me luck!!!
how did it go? i know it's late
Do we have to assume that the first student was actually cheating? Isn't it possible he was looking into space while thinking about his answer?
And why are we talking during the exam? Isn't that grounds for someone thinking we're cheating too?
@@hannahhaile3201 Omg that too 😂
YOU'RE ONLY ETHICAL IF YOU CONFRONT AND THREATEN THAT CHEATER.
I’m scared - I have the test in a week. I have extremely good ethics and morals. I’ve been working as an educational assistant with severely challenged children. I’ve seen it all. My responses weren’t what I liked. But in person I find my choices great
Hi RNH2013, I wanted to let you know that you need to take a Casper workshop in order to pass the test as they mark it using AI technology the AI screener is programmed to pick up on certain key words that you will only know if you or a friend take a Casper workshop and you are told what the key words are... Its is an AI test and to pass you have to outbeat the AI tech...
Thanks for the video. Also, for those who have worked for many years in the real world and have kids... the test is pretty easy, haha.
I wanted to let you know that the Casper test is marked using AI tech and the AI tech is programmed to look for certain key words. In order to get access to these key words you need to take a Casper workshop and when you take your test you have to type in the key words they gave you or the AI tech will fail you on the test.
Thank you very much for the best effort for us as a student.
thank you so much. Your answers are concise, and go straight to the point. these answers work best for the time given for the test.
im panicking for my casper this week and i have 48 hours to learn how to not become a sociopath :)
literally me right now lmao
I just wanted to say thank you for posting this video! It helped me a lot to watch this the morning of my exam and then I took the practice CASPER exam about 3 hrs before my real one. I got pre-selected to view my score for a pilot program they're doing and I scored in the 4th quartile, so I scored better than 76%-100% of the other test-takers in my cohort :) Thanks again!
Wow, that's awesome! Great job, Miryam :)
What company did you take your exam with>>????
@@emilyb3149 not sure what you mean. I took the CASPer exam on the CASPer website
@@mirymatu I meant your practice exam and was it useful??
@@emilyb3149 sorry I responded yesterday and I don’t think it sent lol.
Thank you so much for this video, I was so nervous for this test before I watched this. Now I feel excited and ready for it!
you need to know key words by taking a Casper workshop as it is marked using AI technology...without the key words you won't pass...
Your video is amazing and to the point. Please upload more scenarios. Thanks
You're very welcome, Sania! Glad you found it valuable.
Thank you! The best casper prep video on youtube!
My response is, I’d alert the professor of what I saw and have them formally investigate and handle what they deemed fit to the academic code of conduct we agreed to. What I could of seen could be wrong and the professor can investigate and form their own oppinion on the matter
how can you type that long of an answer with only a 5 minute timer
Thank you! All your resources are so helpful!
Glad to help!
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing.
I feel like this is a test that people study for, but never use in real life. Who would snitch on a classmate for cheating? Some of these "correct answer" scenarios are a bit too unrealistic, I think.
Fair enough! We just want to make sure you know what the folks over at CASPer are looking for so you can succeed on the exam.
I was taught to never lie , cheat or steal or tolerate anyone who does.......but I primarily work in jobs that people could die if cheating stealing or lying were tolerated.
Amazing advice!
Amazing video. Can you guys make another one!
This video was super helpful. Thanks!
So glad! You're welcome!
Helpful and To the point.
Bro this is fire tyyyyy king
We're glad you found it valuable!
This video was perfect, thank you
CHEATING
Question 1: I would comfort my school mate after class so I wont disturbed the class when a test is being taken place.
Thank you so much for all your helpful videos/resources!
You are so welcome!
This a great video much appreciated!!
If you could also give your sample answers in the description that would be amazing!
Is it good to give an answer addressing the person in the scenario in first person perspective? For example writing as your answer "hey Dan I've noticed you've been falling behind on your work, is there anything we can do to help you?"
What I wrote rather typed is so funny, where I am like... am I for real hehhe.
Thank you so much for making this video! Very helpful

Super helpful video! Thank you very much!
Our pleasure, Moge :)
Thank you!!
Thank you very much! This is very helpful
You're very welcome!
Thanks so much for this!!!
You're so welcome!
It's like a math problem--you can get partial credit if you show your work, even if your final answer isn't 100% correct.
casper test is 85 freaking dollars dude wtf
Lmfao, I wrote I would mind my business
lmao
Thanks for the great explanation, however, I can't find the link to ethical review from Washington University

WHAT THE HELL?
thank you so much!
I am trying to see how you follow PPRDJ method in these answers but the answers do not seem to follow that outline. This is making it hard for me to know how to answer. It doesn't seem like your following an outline in any of the answers.
The test fee is not $12, its $85!
For the last question I don’t think we can tell a story about a life in some tough part of town right?
You won't be judged on complexity of your writing. Just make sure to get to the heart of the matter.
@@Shemmassian thank you!
Is this a live exam, as in it is proctored by a person?
thanks for the helpful video. Should we write complete sentences? Can we write short incomplete sentences since it may save my time. I mean phrases without subjects rather than full sentences.I believe raters do not look at grammar or spelling.
Hi Nalin! We recommend writing complete sentences so raters can clearly understand your responses. Check out our blog post on this topic for more detailed guidance: www.shemmassianconsulting.com/blog/casper-test
yeah so the Casper test uses AI tech to mark the tests and in order to pass the Casper test their AI tech looks for key words. You need to type in the key words in order to pass the test as you have to outbeat the AI tech to pass. The only way to get access to the AI tech key words is through a Casper workshop where they go over key words...you have to have these words to pass or score high on the Casper test.
12 dollars!? In Australia they charge 90/ sitting
"I would support him in the composing and rehearsing his statement and apology"
So in other words, lie out your ass about what you would do?
I have a quick question. When they give you the quote questions, will the quotes still be displayed while answering? I don't know why I have trouble remembering the quote. Thanks, Olivia
I have a neurological disease and I can barely use my left hand to type. Is there an alternative or extra time??
Reach out to them and ask them about accommodations: takecasper.com/2019/05/casper-accommodations-policy-and-procedure/
My answers are the same but the problem is, my word choices. Will that be okay? Please help! 🥺
Hi there! You'll want to ensure that your language is clear and concise, but don't worry if the words you used in your responses don't match ours exactly.
hey, my answers are not as long. i answer as best to my knowledge but not as many words. mine is usually like two to 3 lines
Make sure to highlight the main issues in each response and how you would approach situations; those are more important than response length!
