@@Stephey92 as revenge i'm going to convince my college wind orchestra professor to have us perform Angels in the Architecture. i will then watch everyone suffer
Same thing happened to me in my freshman year! Thankfully, I'm performing a flex-band arrangement of this piece in my chamber ensemble class this Spring!
Honestly I would LOVE to play this price but I would really need to sit down and look this over but alas my stupid ass doesn’t have any time to do that
I'm a freshman and I have to play first part of another piece by Frank, Angels in the Architecture; not regretting a single practice session, putting every single thing I know about music so far to use.

Ik im very late but all i have to say is as a trumpet player I think I just died and came back to life like 7 times trying to read through this!
It was a challenge for quite a while when our band director came our with this piece, but well worth all the practice it took!
Favorite piece on this planet, think about it daily
I love it so much
i first heard this piece in eighth grade, and now i finally get to perform it!!
update: covid ruined everything in March of last year and our concert was cancelled :/
@@atlassolid5946 happens
That's sad, it is a really cool piece and I'm sorry Covid ruined it all =/

ah whoever did this, you rock. idt i ever got the chance to play but i did drum major try outs to this in 11th grade (almost 10 yrs ago omg)
Late on the reply, but that would have been a super difficult tryout, it was fun to play!
Probably one if the more difficult things I have played. I'm in 9th grade now, clarinets sounded really good
Thank you for this. I like looking back on old pieces and seeing the music I played :)
Me too!
oh man we're still not playing it this fast
i play sax and my band is currently playing vesuvius so its cool to see this song in another instrument's perspective
It was a super fun piece! I always thought it was cool to see other instruments' perspectives as well so I shared mine!

How the fuck do you count this consistently? seems like a nightmare of time signature changes.
thanks for uploading!
do you know where i can find the 2nd clarinet part???
What's wrong with the first part??
Whelp ive got this for honor band in 2 days and still can barely keep along... Wish me luck I guess
You got this, it is difficult but worth every minute of practice
no problem =)
the alto saxophone soloist seems to like to rush a lot!!!!!
It’s the key signature it’s supposed to sound like that
It’s in 8/8
Mr Saxy that would be the time signature, and it’s in 9/8 not 8/8 haha
@@MeTheAwesomness oops sorry I had a lot typos I’m playing it for my last concert this year I thought was 8/8 sorry and it is rushed your right
1:08
my 8th grade class did this for UIL
Eight grade! This is a grade 5! You have to be a prodigy.
One of the themes is almost a note for note rip off from Dave Brubeck's Blue Rondo a la Turk!!
I'm a freshman and I have to play 1st part on this song :/
I know how that feels. It was great.
