Date 2 and Mitsuha's Theme are both beautiful tracks from the Kimi no Na wa soundtrack, and they are very similar. In this track I've merged the high notes from Date 2 (as well as the ending bars), and also included the extra parts from Mitsuha's theme. This is a structure that I personally prefer :) Enjoy!

Thanks! Found it already! 😊

does anyone know how he's getting the lower octave chords on the left hand at 2:38 to ring out? it doesnt look like he's using his sustain pedal.
Def using sustain :)
haha ok thanks man. love your arrangement. fantastic for a beginner like me :)
are you using a pedal that only rings out the lower notes?
@@jonathanfung5723 No just normal sustain! And thx ^^ I think they ring because you need to jump to hit them so there's some power there
How do you like this keyboard? I'm thinking about getting one.
AKFGFan it’s great! Good middlegroune for quality and budget.
6 people dropped the pen and also did not know how to read Japanese so they didn't know that they were loved. just saying
this song is for some reason sadder than all the rest yet being so simple T-T
The simple ones are usually the most effective I find. Demi-semi-quaver runs are all well and good but sometimes the melody gets lost in all of that stuff.
Simplicity is the key to life. Don't forget that Nole. Put simplicity to daily life :)
That 1 guy that disliked this video probably misclicked because of the teary eyes
NinjaPinguin it’s 7 now in 2020
8*
Now it's 10 in 13,12,2020
I love how the piano sheet is free😊
free where?
Freee????? I can't find any brook
I played this version in front of a big audience for a Jamboree at a certain camp, got a standing ovation! Big thanks to you for the sheets!
That's awesome! Let me know if you have any video of the event :)
Torby Brand of course! I'll upload it on my channel. It's a bit rushed, one or two mistakes. I also simplified parts like measure 72 and 73( I just cant do those left hand jumps,I'll get there eventually!)I also added a little to the ending. It felt like it didn't really end. Sorry! I was nervous 😅
I suck at performances with people around, I get super nervous too. Just the fact that someone is performing my arrangements is awesome, I'll check it out :)
2022 my guy, great stuff, still 1 of my top rated anime song ever. Keep it up bro ❤️
Thanks for sharing the Sheet Music :D , It's so Beautiful. I already played it on my Piano.
My Favorite part is 2:29 , because it's very fun to play 😁
This song makes me miss my boyfriend who doesnt exist
you should do more of Kimi no Nawa's ost! They're so relaxing to listen to! Anyways good job! You've earned a subscriber
I’m getting emotionnal, this interpretation is so beautiful !!
brings back memories when i played this for a friend back in november last year, she'll be moving schools next year and i'm glad i could play a favourite piano cover of hers. this wouldn't have happened if the sheet music wasn't free, thanks so much for this
I love this arrangement so much. it's the first whole piece that i have learned.
you have inspired me to play it.
i just did a cover of this piece on my channel, would love for you to hear it!
0:54 my fingers aren’t long enough to do that D-E from measure 27 😖
Gotta rooooooooooooooooooll it
Ohhh I got it now, thank you so much :)
@@TorbyBrand What does that mean? Please tell me how to do that as I can't reach it too.And also I'm a beginner
@@deepanshubindal1896 It means you play it as an arpeggio, you play the notes in quick succession so your hand has a bit of time to move so you can reach all the notes.
@@TorbyBrand Oh tysm :))
I love that song make me feel good 💯💯❤
Appreciate the free music sheet!
Lovely playing
This is the most emotional piano cover I've heard so far!! You should be extremely proud of yourself! Congrats
Arnu van Wyk
Such a beautiful, moving song... from my favorite anime.
Thanks! Please check out the album version as well if you haven't :)
I WILL DEFINITELY
Hey I just want to say thank you for the video and the midi. This song really moved me to tears. I am forever grateful to you
Jeffrey Yu no problem! :) glad you liked it!
Is this the same guy who play utada hikaru - passion 17 years ago?
I've bought a piano just to play this song
adapths Well, I did learn like half of the song, but my hand coordination is pretty bad and I didnt have time for private lessons or something like that. So I dont learn so much lately. Well, I dont regeret buying it 😃, but if u really want to play the priano, private lessons are the way 😄
adapths Would dare to say it was pretty quick. I played the piano like 7 hours a day for the first moth lmao. Dedication is definitely the key. But then the initial enthusiashm wore off and had a lot of things to do in school etc. Havent played that much since. Well, to answer ur question I learned lets say half of the song in the first two weeks ( but would dare to say it really depends on a person, bcs for example my hand coordinantion is not that good..as I figured out), and reading sheet music in like a month. Then I played less for like 2 months. And now I play only occasionally. Definitely recommend buying something like a keyboard (its cheaper) for the start if u r gonna be a self taught becease u never know how long u will be playing and such.... eh, this is kinda long but w/e hope I answered ur questions. Have a nice day! 😁
adapths Im trying to pick up the piano again, bcs due to the pandemic I have more free time. Good luck on your piano journey! 😁
Sorry but even ishter couldn't beat such a beautiful version.,it creates such emotions which cannot be expresses🌹♥️
RIP Replay Button
i love the part at 2:30 like wow!!!
Very nice arrangement Torby brand. Keep up the good work and thank u for the arrangements. I will learn this song. Anyone who haven't watched this movie, please watch it. Anyways, thank u very much for ur work!!
Anytime!
my dear, is there a way to substitute some notes? i have chubby short hands i can't reach most of the notes that are from c5 to c6 :'( i would love to do this but I can't :'(
Hi, is the issue reaching the high octaves in general or some specific sets of notes/chords?
@@TorbyBrand Thank you for responding
@@misisboom6698 of course ❤️ yes, you’ll generally need the octave reach but for anything beyond you can ‘roll’ it, I believe I do that sometimes in the video as well 🙂 it means that you start on the lower note but then immediately play the next note with your opposite finger, by quickly moving your wrist. It takes some practice but totally doable!
@@TorbyBrand oh my! thank you I will do my best! I appreciate you for responding
My fingers cant stretch:(
I have small hands but I played piano for about a year and my hands started to be able to reach further even though they were still small.
When you try to play an octave, but you have small hand... But I finally dit it :D
my goal is to play this piece completely without mistakes lol, this sounds so good!
You can do it! :D
Go for it!
Your incredible
Ty ^^
1:05 I just realized.. if someone downloaded the sheet music, the left hand D and C-D notes are written an octave higher. You should play them on the 3rd octave.
Good cover, I liked listening to it =)
What a great movie =')
I'm working on this piece for my first recital. I'm a self taught adult student. I'm struggling with the dissonance, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips.
Loved it, thanks for saving poor musicians & beginners like me
Oh it brings back the memories. I'm gonna cry right now.
Title of that piano song
omg this is so nice!! subbed for sure XD
How do you print the sheet?
Without any trial
@@Cartoonyclips-y07 there’s a link to my website there, where it says pdf. Then there’s a free pdf link ^^
hi! I was wondering but did you use the pedal of sustain at 2:29 and 2:37?
Yes, but also at 2:33 I believe (if you're using the stamps for when I pedal)
Came here from Mariorevehrer’s channel. I absolutely loved learning this, and I’m subbing, thank you :)
Thank you
Beautiful arrangement! 😍 The movie and this particular just makes me sad out of nowhere and for no reason 😅
There is a mistake in the sheet. At min 1:08 yo touch C with your first finger in left hand while in the sheet it is an E
It’s vice versa, consider the sheet the correct one 👍🏻 this performance is old and in hindsight not 100% optimal. The new synthesia I made for it is more representative
Hi Torby! May I ask what addictive keys fx did you use?
Hmm it’s so long ago but I think it was the standard settings?
@@TorbyBrand Thank you!
this is simply beautiful
how can you do the keys from 0:53 - 0:55 it's so far away i can't reach it:((
You can roll it!
2020? Anyone?
2021😳

you're a legend for every pianist learning these beautiful music .. thank you .. you dont know how much im so in debt to you.. thank you
Thank you too, I'm so glad I can help!
Hello! Great performance! Quick question? When recording, do you have the camera pick up the sound from the piano with and inboard microphone or are you using an external microphone?
Kesler Gerard Jr
Thanks! I use a midi cable, as external offers too many problems. I used Aux earlier, but then I wasn't able to do synthesia or use a VST.
People who dislike this are idiots they don’t know the meaning of REAL music UwU I luv this song :D
How much years have you been studying the piano ???✨
4-5 years
Torby Brand you play really good ✨❤️
Sofía Olivo gonzalez thanks ❤️
Wonderful
Ohhh, so the music sheet that was in virtual piano came from you! Nice, I love it.
i know im late but this is so beautiful, there really are no words to describe how i feel, im going to be taking my music gcses soon, and as part of my early assessments i have decided to play this piece. thank you so much for the music sheets it really has helped so much
No problem! I'm really happy you liked it, and make sure to link me the piece if you put it out :) I also have an album featuring a remastered version of this coming out this month ;)
Thank you so much for sharing this. I really look forward to learning it :D
Hi, @Torby Brand, can I please use this for a student film. i would love to hear back from you and if theres any way I can donate or Venmo let me know!
Hi! Yes you can use it, and you can donate through paypal to brandkri@yahoo.no, appreciated! :)
This is it chief, this is absolutely it!
I have a question, does it matter if my hands are not in the same position that yours?? Like the fingers, sorry for my bad english😔
Holaa parece que hablas español? Podes tocar las teclas con cualquier dedo lo unico que la posición del video sería la más cómoda. Suerte :D

This is so good, I'm off to start learning it right now!
Can you please do hoshi no utsuwa by sukima switch? It's a soundtrack from the last naruto the movie. Thank you very much for this arrangements. Your versions are the best.

Thank you 🙌
i love this song, but i like it way more when the pace is a bit slower than the original
No spotify? :(
The original song is on spotify. As of jan 2018
Anyone else in love with Mitsuha? Or is just me?

what grade of difficulty would this piece be in say ABRSM terms?
Not sure but it’s an easy one speaking relatively. Maybe grade 2/3? The bass is mostly static apart from some standard arpeggios.
@@TorbyBrand Thank you! I'm trying to teach it to my friend
Thank you so much! ♡
I love how you play this song! Do you think is too difficult to learn for a begginer-intermediate player? I feel it might be too difficult.. Thank you.
Thanks! No it's great for beginners :)
@@TorbyBrand thank you, I am learning it now thanks to your video and sheet music. Are you using the sustained pedal? If so, how do I know when I have to use it?
this is a very nice arrangement. Can you make a tutorial for sparkle and nandemo naiya? Thank you!

Thank you so much Torby Brand ! Thanks to your arrangement i could do my cover here : ruclips.net/video/ITj4harxbu0/видео.html
Hi, I'm trying to learn this song, and I was wondering if you were using the pedal at all in this? The sheet music doesn't have any pedal lines but it sounds like some parts have pedal use? Thanks for the arrangement regardless, it sounds great :)
Hi, I go by the standard ‘sustain unless otherwise specified’, as I use pedal about 95% of the time :) that being said I also leave it up to the performer so it’s optional, but that’s my playstyle. It comes naturally for me, and change every chord change/when it gets muddy.
@@TorbyBrand Good to know, that definitely helps a lot. I only started playing about half a year ago, so most of the pieces I've played are the exact opposite, with no sustain unless otherwise specified. Is using sustain unless otherwise specified common? Should I just assume pedal unless otherwise stated in the sheets for most arrangements?
DragonEdge10 yes, it’s very common. In a lot of cases you can’t hold notes down and it won’t sound very good without. I’d say unless the sheet specifies it’s up to the user, same goes for, for example, dynamics. Unless you’re doing classical, ‘what sounds good to you’ goes.
@@TorbyBrand I see, thanks for the info, you've been a huge help! You've definitely earned a sub!
DragonEdge10 thanks! Don’t forget I have 100 sheets on the website :) good luck!
I wish i can play like that😢
You can, it's not that hard of a song so everyone can do it ^.^
Thanks
What is the brand of your keyboard bro?
@@Paw-sitivelyHilarious P-115
What type of piano is that? A yamaha p115 or p45?
By the way, I love your channel and this viewing angle.
it's a yamaha P45. gonna get one myself!
no its a p115, look in desc
ErYien yeah, I know. Realised that for quite a while now. But thanks
did you get your p45 now? im thinking about getting a p115 or a roland fp30 the fp sound more like a traditional piano and it has better sounding low notes than the yamaha but the yamaha has chilling good high notes
